    What’s your go-to cleaner? Both times we got a different cleaner after owning a Dyson (DC04 and then DC07) we were heavily disappointed. The Electrolux broke after 2 years and the shark cordless I think the IZUK201 was horrendous. Ended back with the Dyson Small Ball animal 2 and a V8 for quick tasks and they’re brilliant.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před 3 měsíci +2

      The latest Dyson Ball uprights are absolutely incredible machines! When the DC07/14 were out I didn’t think they could get any better.
      I use a Dyson ball Animal UP32 and I love how it’s so quiet, lightweight, has a powerful brushbar that works from low pile carpets to deep pile without any issues and it handles large debris on hard floors too! It’s definitely their best Ball model for sure. The hose suction could be a little stronger like their older models but overall it’s still a fantastic model
      The V8 is a superb machine, but since using the V15 I find low mode on the V8 to be quite underpowered. However the V8’is probably the most reliable cordless they ever made (batteries aside due to them all using lithium ion technology)
      I also like using this Shark now, along with a Sebo X7 on carpets, Sebo’s have impressive build quality. The Felix is another Sebo I rate, but doesn’t like deep pile carpets and lacks an extension wand.
      I prefer this shark to the more fancier ones because those models with duo clean (the fluffy spinning paint roller at the front) leaks a lot of airflow out the front so less of it reaches the roots of the carpet to effectively deep clean
      The Vax air stretch pet max is another machine I like to use sometimes, they have aggressive brushbars and really clamp down to carpets well! Easily performs on par with a Dyson
      And a Henry for heavy duty vacuuming that involves building work like rubble, stones, etc
      The DC04/07/14 were seriously ahead of their time and I still enjoy using them for nostalgia lol. They have such solid build quality and have been engineered so simply that I find them to be elegant. They require very little maintenance because the filters take absolutely ages to clog. They had powerful motors in them, like really powerful motors, whilst keeping the wattage lower than other vacuums that consumed up to 2200W!

      Honestly I think this is my most favourite Shark now. As much as I love the fancier duo clean sharks with their powered lift away to vacuum under low furniture with the main brushbar, this cheaper Shark performs way better and still does hard floors well! The hose is more flexible and less bulky too and it’s so simple, I love a simple elegant design!
      These Sharks are one of my favourites, I’m just going to have to try and maintain the pre motor filter more since it’s no Dyson lol but overall a fab machine!

    My go to with 6 adults 2 dogs and 2 cats has always been the dyson outsize but its just broke 4 the 2nd time...the wand dosnt support the outsize bin after a year and goes on the wobble...duct tape not holding so ive reverted to my Shark liftaway as Henry is too heavy to carry up 3 flights daily...i must say, ive never really appreciated the shark as the dyson always out did it (hate cables) but other than the constant filter sweep its done really well with the daily volume...a faff for car cleaning though so Henry and Titan for that...DC07 for nostalgia too but scares the dogs...try the Dunelm mini surface vac, around £20 and seriously brilliant for wet and dry kitchen spills...my family think im bonkers ...i probably am....😁

    I’ve just come across this channel I been looking for a new hoover for two months now and don’t know what to buy. What’s your favourite please? I currently have a cordless Dyson but I’m bored of it now and I think I need one of these corded vacuums to really suck everything up

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před měsícem

      What type of flooring do you have - mainly carpets or hard floors? For carpets I recommend a Dyson Ball or a Sebo X7
      If you’re in the UK and have low pile carpets, a Vax air stretch upright is fantastic, they are very powerful machines!
      For hard floors, Sharks with the duo clean technology (fluffy roller at the front) are the best
      Henry’s are excellent cylinders, they always work properly and can vacuum up even rubble and rocks and they still work great, they don’t have a rotating brushbar though so may struggle with some carpets

  • @techseth
    @techseth Před 3 měsíci +2

    Never really liked shark, but seems to be decent in your testing.
    Now can you test a Cinetic canister and put your Turbocat EX on it? Just don’t put rocks in your carpet (small sand should be okay though)

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I’d love to! Although I’d need to find an adaptor for it to fit, as the Dyson DC54 Cinetic uses a special click fit tool fitting

    Great vid, love the energy you always bring.
    Still not sure if I should go for a Shark NV/NZ model or Vax Air Lift 2 Pet max.
    It's mainly thin carpet I'll be hoovering on, but for stairs & off-ground areas the powered lift away is very appealing.
    A lighter vacuum is ideal - which deters me from the 6kg+ models that sadly many powered lift away vacs are

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před 2 dny +1

      Many thanks, glad you enjoy it!
      The sharks are pretty good machines but the filters need more maintenance than the Vax filter will, if you’re vacuuming low pile carpet then the Vax air is probably the best thing, they really dig in and deep clean extremely well
      I would go for a regular vax air stretch, the air 2 models with the fluffy paint roller in the front aren’t as powerful unfortunately
      Although I do like the Shark NZ801UKT, it’s still a powerful machine, cleans hard floors better than the vax and has the powered lift away feature

    • @karimhussein3610
      @karimhussein3610 Před 2 dny +1

      @@parwaz7861 Thank you so much for the quick reply, I think the priority for me is it being lightweight & manoeuvrable, it's for the household including my mother and ideally want it to be easy to handle.
      The NZ801UKT looks great but the small capacity is annoying, I think it has less suction and capacity than the NZ850 while weighing about the same too, so I'm hard pressed to get that particular model.
      I think the NV601/NV602 are the lightest I can find with a lift away function. I know the Vax Air Stretch is even lighter & with a really long cord length, but how easy is it to do stairs and/or places up high? I believe with the hose length stretched all the way it can go up 4m - but would you say it is as convenient as a lift away method?

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před 2 dny +1

      The NZ850 may have more suction but they have a vent in the handle that leaks airflow on both carpet settings, the NZ801ukt has a manual adjustable vent so you’re in full control of the suction, and what I like about the powered lift away is when you feel like you want the vacuum to be lighter, just lift the unit away and carry it in one hand as you vacuum away with the other
      The lower end sharks don’t do this, the floor tool can’t be used in lift away mode but they are still very practical to use
      The vax is a great machine but it’s more of a chore to set up the hose as you have to reach down to remove it and then attach the extension hose

    • @karimhussein3610
      @karimhussein3610 Před 2 dny +1

      @@parwaz7861 Ah, a manual adjustment vent sounds cool - I have no idea about the niche differences between these anti hair wrap Shark vacs - so ty for that.
      I'm not sure which Shark vacs offer height adjustment with the stick either.
      I think I'll get either the nz801uk, the Vax air Stretch - or maybe the pet max version of that one too 🤔
      The vac won't be used that frequently, as I often dustpan & brush in the evening - so I guess the filter maintenance needs from the Shark isn't a huge deal breaker.
      Another thing sorry, which set of accessories (pet tool, crevice etc) is better those offered by Vax or Shark? I believe Shark even has 2 distinct pet brush versions depending on it being either the NV or NZ?

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před dnem +1

      The Shark turbo brush works better than the vax one, with the vax the brushbar slows down a lot to the point it barely spins, with the Shark it spins better

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před 27 dny +1

      I prefer the Shark, the vax Air lift 2 looks like a good machine and has better cyclones but I’m not sure how well the fluffy roller works, I’ve heard they still fling particles out and don’t work well compared to a Shark duo clean
      Also vacuums with a front fluffy roller generally don’t clean carpets well because of the amount of air that leaks out the front fluffy roller, this shark cleans far better than my duo clean NZ801

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  Před 3 měsíci

      Henry’s are fantastic for hard floors, but pet hair on carpets is something they struggle with, this Shark is probably best I think as it works on hard floors and is super powerful on carpets
      Vax air stretch pet max upright is also fantastic but they tend to snowplough large debris on hard floors

    can't make out if this was a positive or negative review of the vacuum. With a family of 10, we've never in our life had to vacuum that much dirt at once, almost like overworking the poor guy. The environment was much like a jungle itself, so from the onlook I have taken away as a positive review and shall try it out as I am switching from a loyal dyson user for over 28+ years, unfortunately their performance has gone down year by year compared to the pricing.
