Vanlife Scotland, van build. We finally install the ladders, sort the rust and the roof

everyone welcome to our channel. We are Nikki, Sharon and the two dogs buffy and xander.
Wr converted a £800 joiners van 2 years ago and travel round Scotland either looking for an adventure or peace and quiet lol.
We are back to basics this week with some van upgrades and we finally get dry weather to sort the rust out. We also discover that you can use space blankets instead of vapour barrier. We also get all new brakes, pads and a new drop link for our next adventure.
We are so organised for this trip that I have a feeling somethings going to go wrong.

That stuff on your roof is what our boat gets covered in while it's still in the yard.

The last time I cleaned it, it took ages but used mould and mildew remover think it was cilitbang and came off so easy. All I’ve seen this past week is orange campervans taking it as a sign lol just need to order some paint samples and see what orange I want 👍
