  • My last upload was in October 2018, so it has been a while. This is a catch up ramble. I've added some video clips and photos to (hopefully) make it a little more interesting.
Apologies for the hiss in the audio, haven't quite figured out how to eliminate that.

Good to hear your back mate!
I really appreciated your 1939 Polish painting guide.

Such a pleasure to hear an old friends voice again after so long, it has made my day and it is a pleasure to welcome you back into the community. You have been missed my friend. Certainly an eventful few years for you, but you have now found your equivalent to my Mappleton. It looks absolutely idyllic and peaceful and your love for the place shines through in your voice. We have a lot of catching up to do.

Indeed Ian. I'm hoping the new environs here allow me to be more productive. Though I must admit, I spend much of my time outdoors now, and away from the painting desk!
Hope the winter isn't too bitter over there.

@@ZenMiniPainting The winter in Britain is what it is, we are hardy souls and can take it, we are used to it. Spend time outdoors my friend, it has a magic of its own. When you want to paint and upload a video, fine. You are free to do as you choose, no deadlines here. I am just so pleased to have you back.

I've only now watched this video as I tend to unsubscribe to channels that don't put out content for extended periods in order to 'declutter' my subscription list. It was a delight to hear you mention my channel and how much you valued my non-wargaming content. You expressed far better than I could the philosophy I try to follow with the type of content I upload and your taste and mine coincide in the type of channels we watch, such as Ian's. A period of health crisis at the start of this year has certainly made me think about my priorities, and whilst wargaming has value as a leisure activity I am losing interest in watching channels that solely focus on it and seem blinkered to anything outside of it. I look forward to following you in the months and years to come. Have you thought of acquiring a drone as it looks like you have some spectacular settings for aerial footage?

I had not really thought much of getting a drone, in truth. My father builds his own drones, but focuses more on the technical elements than filming. Which makes sense given his technical background.
However, having seen your footage, I am thinking again about getting a drone. I am very fortunate to live where I do, plus, with my frequent travel, it might be something fun to do on the road.
