The two pieces you see in this video were featured in the Plein Air exhibit in their gallery. You can find them and many other works on my website at www.carolmcqua...

Did you love the Umbrella Station I'm using in this video? It's super handy for plein air painting. My brother Mike invented it. You can watch him pitching it (successfully!) on the Dragon's Den here: www.cbc.ca/dra... . How fun is that?!
    Thanks for watching!

I love the idea of combining plein air work and printmaking. It was a good tip to hear that the linoleum was too cold to carve. It makes me curious how it would hold up in our upcoming hot, sunny Florida and whether the humidity would be a negative.

Hi Deb. Thanks for watching. I moved to Cabo after I made that video. It’s actually so much easier to carve in this climate, and inks stay pliable on the plate longer in the warm humid climate. So… have at ‘er and enjoy the sunshine :-)

    Hi Carol
I’m in South Australia and would really appreciate knowing where you buy the tan unmounted Lino from?
Thank you so much for your fantastic videos, you are a brilliant artist & teacher,
    Warmest Regards
    Susie

What printmaking supplies do you take with you? Just printing paper to print on, brayer or wooden spoon, Lino to carve on, ink, substrate to roll out ink, substrate to place Lino and printing paper on, Lino tools, marker to draw design, and lastly the ink roller. Am I forgetting something?
