“If you move, if you move!” - Thunderbolt Patterson
“I AM GOING TO IF YOU MOVE! IF YOU JUST MOVE, OLE!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😀... I'm Full!!!
This will be my first sermon if I ever preach lol
"I'm soooo (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmh) I'm so full....I'm full up to HERE!"
If you move! I'm full Ole ! I'm fullllll!
There’s always a Jim video for everything.
thunderbolt patterson could say absolutly nothing but u knew he meant it
IF YOU MOVE! IF YOU MOOOOVE! OLE....IF YOU MOVE! What a legend. 😂
For me as much as i liked T Bolt.
His wrestling was worth $10 but his promos were PRICELE$$.
The "If I only had time" promo almost killed my grandparents as we was watching it and the show went off, we damn near laughed ourselves to death. It was just how Cornette described it.
Thunderbolt Patterson is now in the hall of fame
I met Thunderbolt Patterson and got his autograph at an ICW card in 1982. He was popular during his run with the organization.
"What are you FULL of ?" Has me in fucking TEARS
"You had to look at [Thunderbolt's] eyes."
His eyes? Which fuckin' one?!!?
Who's here after the hall of fame announcement
Me
IF YOU MOVE......IF YOU MOVE!!!! Not gonna lie that's become my favorite promo in the last few years. 😆
Patterson was trying not to swear I think! LMFAO
i kind of felt it, he's passed fed up and if ole even moves, he's going to kick his ass
Thing that always got me with the "if you move" promo was Thunderbolt saying "you have ruined folks' lives." It just really got me to thinking what exactly had Ole Anderson been doing to people that he actually ruined entire lives.
Definitely a Georgia legend and he did big business in the Carolinas at one point in the seventies .
It was with AA that Ole turned on Thunderbolt for the eventual Andersons vs Thunderbolt and Manny Fernandez
exactly, ole saw Arn wrestling nd he later defended Arn and ended up jumping Patterson, which split their team
The last I remember of Thunderbolt was him teaming up with The Raging Bull Manny Fernandez.
Actually he was saying a lot. I was watching that live. During the match he was handcuffed to ole to keep him from interfering in the match. Telling Ole not to even move. Don’t even think about interfering in this match. If you move. If you move
This artwork though is great!
Heckel does it again!
He even got the eyes right! 😁
Cocaine is a hell of a drug
And now he's in the WWE hall of fame
Dusty Rhodes copied Thunderbolt 😉
The never ending saga of the team up & break up feud between Ole Anderson & Thunderbolt Patterson was insane lol. If I'm not mistaken, they were teaming & fighting into the late 90s & early 2000s on the Indy Circuits lol.. 🤣
I love thunderbolt patterson
Did Ole ever move???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In the recently lol I used to annoy my brothers and sister saying that.
And now he’s a WWE hall of famer!!
He was working as a Union Organizer and was going around trying to get the wrestlers to unionize. That’s one big reason a lot of the promoters wanted him gone.
Later on Jessie Ventura tried to do the same thing.
I’ll bet some of those same wrestlers wish they’d went along with Patterson & Ventura!
Let’s face it: that would have killed the territories quicker than they already were.
Just call somebody, tell somebody!! If you move!!
Full up to here
Hah! My home town of Carrollton
I liked Thunderbolt but Ernie Ladds promo about not liking whiskey drinkers. Was a shot at Thunderbolt was a really funny promo.
LOL I always thought it was Ernie Ladd talking about wahoo with the whiskey. So it was thunderbolt!
Wow it seems as if the late Big Dusty Rhodes stole his mic and wrestling skills from Claude " Thunderbolt" Patterson.
Him and Superstar Billy Graham
Dusty was a much better wrestler. He did copy a lot of Thunderbolts promo skills. But Dusty put his own spin on it. Pretty much every wrestler copied part of their act from other wrestlers that had come before them, including Hogan and Flair.
@@robfinlay8058 true. The one true original I believe is the Masked Assassin, his promos have a silent brooding that I've never heard anywhere before.
@@robfinlay8058 better wrestler? He stole the way he wrestled to
D Dave: As great as Jody Hamilton was and will always be, especially on The Mic, Don "The Spoiler" Jardine and Bill "The Masked Superstar" Eadie had that same exact air of calm cruel intimidation. Incidentally, Congratulations to Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow for their way overdue induction in Hollywood no less into The WWE Hall of Fame. Very richly deserved!🤔😉🎤🤼♂️B.W.
Let's put this into context... How many Black Wrestlers would normally be invited to a show when promoters only wanted 1 Black person on the card and be called N-word by the audience and coworkers? Jim C.--love him to death but he hired the Gangstas not because they were nice guys but because they were so violent and stirred the pot and made him money.
May you please do a story why Kerry Von Erich did not come to WCW during that time. He would of been a great part of The Dudes With Attitudes.
I didn't know they were thinking about bringing in Kerry. It seems that was about the same time he was feuding with Jerry Lawler over unifying the WCCW and CWA titles.
" ... Thunderbolt Paterson Has Quite an Interesting Set of Eyes, Doesn't He?"
- Jerry "The King" Lawler
Jim Wilson and Thunderbolt Patterson were on the old Morton Downey Jr. Show in the 80's. They were both talking about racial discrimination and corruption in the wrestling business. Dr. D David Schultz was on with him and told Wilson he was a loser who never won a match and Told Patterson it wasn't his skin color that prevented him from getting booked, but the fact that he sucked in the ring and was boring.
Plenty of white talents who were booked were boring n sucked
And Thunderbolt beat his azz
made my way over hear after seeing him on the morton downey jr. show with Dr. D
*here
Not even gonna lie.....I almost lost it when he said he was going to keep his "eyeballs" on Ole.
Well the speech was something
I remember watching a WCW PPV and it was for legends. They did a highlight reel for Thunderbolt. It was the same moves for the 1 minute or so tribute. Different era and different work rate. He got over with his charisma but he he ever suck in the ring.
No he didn't
he should deliver the commencement speech at bartender's school
Man, Dusty Rhodes does a Thunderbolt Patterson better than Thunderbolt Patterson. WOW!
No he doesn't, dumaz
@@pilot8220 Why are you so conflicting!? There is No need for your rude remark 🙏🏾
I should get this Travis art work tattooed on my flesh
Sounds like Dusty Rhodes. Now we know where he got his "voice"
I thought it was Dusty Rhodes 🙄
Great actor
No.. Dusty sounds like Thunderbolt.
Dusty Rhodes copied Thunderbolt Patterson back in the seventies when they were both in Florida.
5:56 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thunderbolt and Ole the original Megapowers coming together!!
LMAO -- If You Move - I'm Full up To Here, Same mose
LMBO
Thunderbolt is great
CALL SOMEONE.....TELL SOMEONE!!!!!!
IF YOU MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!
He's the reason why promos can get you over. Not Ric and Dusty. They were inspired by him. Why do yall think blk ppl love dusty and Flair 🤷🏾
The eye 👁 (in the drawing) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gordon!! Gordon!! I'm soooooooooooo full up to heeeeeerrrrrrrreeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! Fun Times!!!!!!!!
I think they meant Jim Brown
One of his family's love next door to us growing up cool af with his granddaughter
Did Ole actually move?
This is the guy who's gimmick Dusty Rhodes stole. The more I watch Thunderbolts promos and his swag and then go back and watch Dusty, its like Dusty Rhodes is a white version of Thunderbolt. He sounds like him and everything.
If I only had time.
There's a CZcams video posted a couple of years ago of Thunderbolt talking about Jim Cornette. While watching that clip and hearing T-Bolt talk, I just couldn't help but think of Tommy Chong's routine of Blind Melon Chitlin. Here is that clip: czcams.com/video/cq6oBtntLq8/video.html
I used to think when he said full, be meant high
So he pulled a Jesse Jackson on the promoters
SAME OLE!
Ise full of it
I love the fact that Arn Anderson is the catalyst for this break up. Anybody would drop t bolt for Arn....even without the kayfabe brother gimmick. "I can squat 500 lbs but I can't carry you" I'm paraphrasing of course.
No they wouldn't, dumaz
So cool. I'm from Carrollton, Ga and Thunderbolt lives down the street a ways in Bowdon.
Thunderbolt Patterson: the father of the New Day Yes it is!!"
Understand what he said worked around me that's what they've been doing all of their my career I didn't know nothing that was going on and people were getting paid I was drawing big money all over
Dusty stole his whole promo style.
In the recently...I use that alot
The “If You Move” promo made perfect sense to me. Also, Dusty copied that man’s whole style. Show some respect.
Thunderbolt speaking to the black southerners only. Yankees from up North not going to get it.
I understood every word
Yeah pretty deep stuff
lol okay
Couldn't get them all i n Carrollton that nights
Dusty Rhodes stole his entire character.
The thing about this.....the racism was real and people like Cornette benefitted from it. He never had to worry about a job because of the color of his skin and he was with the institution of racism. The truth is men like Thunderbolt were absolutely discriminated against. It's cute how they ridicule him with the way Thunderbolt talks. I don't believe how arrogant and smug they are.
Cornette is a carny so it takes one to know one. Whether it is Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, or Joel Osteen
@@TheMarkWilson what is a carny? Never heard of that term.
@@dannyclay6953you’re acting like Thunderbolt didn’t get over like he did because of his skin color he got over due to being a black wrestler in the south that’s it he was a good talker but he was shit in the ring
@@SlaytonRiderHe was awesome in the ring, dumaz enbred
@@pilot8220 what’s some matches of his that I should watch that displays his in ring greatness
BTW, Ol' Thunder is going to the HoF
Yep, I can only imagine how his acceptance speech will go.. Oooooooh if I only had more time!!!
@@bootneyfarnsworth2844I’m full!
This is something I can talk about you at the right time Bishop
The eyes tho
Thunderbolt & Jimmy Valiant are the 2 worst in-ring performers I have seen
Thunderbolt is the best wrestler ever, enbred
Dirty Rhodes owes ThunderBolt serious Coin
Carrollton Georgia
Ooo-ooo-ooo Lordi if I only had time
Lmao!!!!!!!!!!
sounds like a black ultimate warrior, making no sense.
Actually, that’s kinda accurate
Or Delirious!😂😏🎤🤼♂️B.W.
Old thunder bolt was strait up N.
Phuc Cornette!
I think people heard something entirely different than what was said.
Back in Minnesota they never had to wrestle his kind.
Shame on this crap that I'm listening to! Racism didn't exist back then huh? In wrestling huh? Racism doesn't exist now in wrestling huh? Patterson fought for wrestlers to have better working conditions and equitable wages. Doctors are at ring side due to his advocacy.
Just move
How can he say Thunderbolts work sucked
If his work sucked Dusty Rhodes work sucked bcuz he stole his whole style from thunderbolt patterson
So I'm gonna say this one time....I love ur commentary jim cornette....but if you move
He was so hard to work with he helped hold himself back
I am black man in my sixties who grew up in Memphis Wrestling, that being said, Wrestling as a whole was until WWE went corporate a racist institution. The N word was used by most of the White Wrestlers, Dick Murdoch a KKK member went up and down the road with Dusty Rhodes, who stole Thunderbolt Patterson gimmick and spent his career mocking black people. I could go on forever. Duh
Keep going
The original BLM dox'er
I drew money where I went he is just lying just don't know that's Charlotte North Carolina of the war in Georgia channel 17 this is the one talk about
Never heard of this guy till today.
I wonder if there is more to the racial discrimination stuff. It's easy for Jim to dismiss it as a white dude from the south growing up in the 60s and 70s with a rose tinted view on wrestling of that era. Maybe it wasn't all just bullshit trying to keep a job.
Talk all this shit boom. Three years later a hall of famer before cornette
LMAO I know right
BLM.
The outside world understand me Jesus is the only way
Thunderbolt promos were like watching an angry dad rant!
