- I wanted to edit on Savage's dance practice and so I waited but when they uploaded it, I knew it was a dance practice where they wanted to have fun instead of being serious and exerting energy and focus. So, I had no choice but to choose this stage to analyze. (why the dance practice was just chill: • aespa try not to laugh... )

Things I learned:
- Winter’s pops and locks are amazing and I need to keep an eye out in the future
- Giselle’s strength is in her fluidity

Winter might lack power, but her elegance, precision is a standout.
Not entirely on topic but It really baffles me why stylist puts Karina in high heels when she’s the tallest and the main dancer, why not give her some comfortable shoes so she can focus on her dancing.
I don't get it when they say Winter didn't have any charisma or stage presence. When I literally followed their beginning till now, even she is not the center she shined at their performance and nailing their choreography. That why she became my bias she really lived up as the ace of aespa.

In my opinion I prefer winters dancing, its not messy and it gives of that elegant vibe, as if she doesn't even break a sweat, I also like ningnings fluid moves and ofcourse main dancer karina is amazing.
Karina is a really good dancer. She has perfected this choreography that no one else can.

As you could see every Savage performance karina always did the lock right and the glide and the break down right especially this part 3:29-3:31 right it seem like she have the most stamina to me and you could also see the squid game outfit dance practice also and check that part also cause the difference is huge between the others

This is what I learnt from this video about the Main and Lead Dancers in this group.
Karina = elegant, graceful movements probably due to her ballet training. This makes her neck, arm, and foot work to be great, along with her angles. Her movements are the most clean in the group.
Winter = her pops and isolation, along with her hip movements are the best in the group. Her background is hip-pop so that makes sense. She slightly lacks energy but her dancing is precise.
Karina must be the main dancer the way she dances is really great ❤️ I'm in love 😍😍

The way karina dances is the reason I hit so many small beats when I’m just playing around doing this dance. Her staggered pull backs on the bent arms love is something I copy a lot and could only do so because she made it noticeable it was being done
Indeed Winter deserved to be the lead dancer. I was so in love with her dance in SAVAGE. If I didn't know Karina is the main dancer, I would have thought Winter is the main dancer. Winter's dance is like her body is moving on her own but so flexible. She never misses a beat and her visual😍😍. Her vocal is so damn amazing. She proved she's not only a visual but a lead dancer and vocal too😎

Winter slays the main chorus, she makes it really catchy! Ning Ning does the kinda hip roll part while walking Chorus part great in my opinion. Karina movements are very clean and pretty, and Giselle is very stable and I liked her first part rap movements. The reason I liked savage the most was because of its dance and pre chorus. And the rap parts and the bridge lmao.

This is good. I just don't agree with the Karina's part on the head isolations on the chorus. The head isolations were obviously done properly by Giselle then Ningning

Just my opinion but I think Winter is a very technically good dancer (and of course incredible singer), her dancing is not based in strength but that’s not a problem. The reason she doesn’t necessarily stand out as much is a lack of stage presence. I just don’t really feel much from her. You don’t have to have strength to have great stage presence.
I think winter should really balance her popping and energy because she just lets her popping carry the performance when the moves aren’t even centered on popping in the first place. The pop should be a nice bonus to add flavor and not the only thing you’re doing

I'm not a dancer, but i thought that they were dancing in their own style
What I actually like about these choreography is that they add their own spices and dance styles to it especially in this song where they said was the most difficult for them. But then as for Winter grown to be used with pop, she just flow with it and doesn't just act like she just need to do it bcoz that's her own dance style. In short, she's so natural with it. As per her energy, she obviously always not the best in letting it out but she know where to put it. She know what part it should be added and when not, bcoz she's got amazing body control. She's not being so laid-back nor she's over dancing, she's just balanced.

I would love if you could make an analysis why a lot of people think Karina is such a wonderful dancer but there's just something awkward about her dance style. Is it the choreography? Her body proportions? Maybe just bc of her outfit 🤔
i think it’s her facial expressions, it really makes her look like she’s bored. don’t get me wrong tho, she’s my bias in aespa and i love her to bits, it’s just what i notice in her fancams 😭

As someone who stans SM groups, I think she has the standard SM artists facial expression which I often see it as not overexaggerated and focused. I've been thinking about it, and I think it's just the choreography and her dancing style aren't matching. Some dance reactors had said that there's something different and awkward about aespa's choreography, and it's confirmed by BoA herself. Idk, I hope whether it's her expression or choreography, it'll get better in the future. She's amazingly talented

@@KateSparkle I watched their perf of Savage at the K Culture Festival and Winter seemed to be more energetic there. It's so frustrating because she is so inconsistent with the whole energy thing lol maybe she is one of those idols who during their first performances try to watch their steps carefully therefore don't pay attention at projecting power?
