I bought this kit when I was in Japan, and I want to paint and properly LED it up. That display base is a bit of a disappointment though and stickers instead of water slides is also disappointing. I'll need to check around to see if anyone is making repro water slides. I think this thing will look stellar if I can try to reproduce all of the lights from the actual Yokohama 1:1. The shoulders blue hazard lights being a solid grey bit is also going to pose a challenge.
I love you daddaye 😂😂😂 already going to be a great video and I’m only 9 secs in!! To all my gundam fans out there, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Now let’s get back to the show 🤘
They made a super detailed high-grade in 1/48 and DON'T GIVE IT ANY WEAPONS!? Damn it Bandai, why do you have to half ass things like this. Just ONE beam saber would be enough to make this thing pop. _sigh_ Anyway, nice review! I'm not really a fan of the first gundam, but I gotta say this kit looks amazing. The sheer presence kits emanates really puts it up with things like the Gojoulas and other massive kits, and I find that amazingand fun to watch. Nothing beats watching a massive kit and a bunch of small ones around it for scale.
@@vancyhobbies that's so saaaaad. I'm going to Japan early next year and planning to get this kit, I might end up not being able to bring home the box. That's unfortunate
You might be able to get it in a large suitcase. In my circumstance I had to bring back several other kits as well so space was maximized to its full potential.
Very detailed review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

That would make a great project especially with those led 👍 I hope you manage to get waterside for it.
I have the 1/48 Unicorn which is huge, it lacks articulation which is fine because it looks standing good either way
I'm considering getting one of those as well just because of the size 😆
Thanks for this. Am now thinking if I need it or not.
Big decision for big kit 👌
So we have another imperialdramon issue We're you have to top coat this kit. To help with the looseness
Yep that is a good solution.

Sorry but I have no idea what will happen to the gundam base shop whether it will be relocated or completely closed.

Yep, something about giant kits make them so mesmerizing. And the audacity of bandai to not give weapons!!!!!
can you make amplified metalgreymon plz
I will review it once i get it, waiting on the pre order right now 😔
the only problem is too big to fit in suitecase 😍
Factssss
Honestly, I'm more surprised the 1:100 even has weapons lol
😄 if only the mega size got the same treatment
So you weren't able to bring the box home?
Nope couldn't fit in my suitcase unless I wanted to fold it. It was longer than a PG box 😆

@@vancyhobbies I'll keep this in mind. Thank you!
