I’m building the ogre. I have wanted a Gojulas since I was in grade school. The difference is now I have money. This is also the first model kit I have built of this kind of size ever. You are right about the runners. What made it a lot easier for me in terms of organizing is every runner I put a piece of green painters tape and wrote the letter to make it more visible. I also kept all the runners I didn’t need for the page I was on in a totally different room. The fun part just getting to the ones that only have Japanese kanji. But I did get parts mixed up when I put the tail sections together. Here’s hoping the joints hold up because I had to pay $$275 plus shipping and taxes for it. But sure to impress any kid that looks at it.
I stopped collecting Zoids many years ago...but I continued with Gunpla. The Last Zoids I bought were the Gojulas Giga and The Iron Kong (The Motorized Kits). I think it is time that start I collecting Zoids again. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good to hear that it's pretty stable even after a few years, since you've said before Kotobukiya polycaps tend to crack over time. I'll pull my Gojulas the Ogre out of my backlog...hopefully soon
Epic! Also a hmm dark spiner And bio zoids would be epic, And others as well. Would be cool to see an articulated Cgi accurate line of zoid action Figures.
Thats a good option as well, I personally prefer to clear coat the joints but both works. However I do plan on painting this guy one day so I will hold out on doing anything to it for the time being.
IT'S THE BIG BOI! Getting two of the weapons sets for this guy I guess you can emulate "The Ogre" version or the recolors with a bit of extra. I usually have one big project per year, If they are re-releasing this kit in 2024, I will try to get it(not from amazon, they would charge 300% to even deliver here). My biggest Zoids kit is the Death Stinger, and I noticed you have one too, albeit in different colors. How would you compare it to the Gojulas? Alas, happy 2024.
Happy 2024! So far the stinger has been holding out real well and honestly they are just so different from one another its hard to compare. The gojulas is a bit bigger resulting in a longer build and is more expensive. Both are great display pieces in any collection.
Unfortunately I don't have one, but judging from the images comparing the za to hmm it will not fit into a detolf. Well maybe if you squish and fold it up but I doubt it still, that thing is massive!

The build may be long but the end result is *chefs kiss* it's satisfying when you start clearing out each runner.

Thankfully, the polycaps have been holding out real good for this big boi and have fun with the ogre that will be a fun build.

Well atleast a takara tomy motorized one is soon to be release. Not gonna be of scale but will still be huge.
I would love to make a city battle diorama with a Gojulas variant, some grunt mobile suits, and maybe some tanks and aircraft.

Judging from how marking plus kits are, they are just same build with extra decals. The builds dont get new engineering *cough cough* shield liger
