@@ChromaticGarage If you end up doing this, please just let the car idle for like 15-20 seconds before you possibly rev it a little. I for one like listening to car after a cold start more than listening to it being reved.

Hey man just wanted to say you’re one of the most underrated detailers on CZcams. I’ve watched all of your videos and I’ve genuinely improved as a detailer. I’m just still scared to start polishing, waxing, etc. You are someone I look up to in the detailing community, I have a lot to learn still lol

What’s your fear with polishing? Possibly a bunch of people telling you you’ll ruin paint? Burn through clear coat and such?
Chromatic Auto Detailing that is exactly what I’m afraid of. Staying on one spot for too long or just messing up the customers car and not having the funds to fix it. I’ve had many missed opportunities so far.
@@kevingalvan3693 I work on classic cars with really soft paint, tbh it’s hard to burn/cut through the paint if you have a DA. But experiment with different techniques on your own vehicle if possible.
@@kevingalvan3693 well, you can always go to the scrapyard and buy a body-panel and test what does it take to burn through clear coat

I typically only use the foamers on super dirty wheels so that product has a longer dwell time. Carbon ceramic brakes never make a mess so these were easy!

By the way, noticed you leveled the Gtechniq coating with the plush Edgeless towels. Do you wash them with microfiber safe detergent and reuse them? I usually just wash and downgrade the towels for use on polishing exhaust pipes or engine work.

So we don't wash them after and we just reuse them for super dirty tasks around the shop. Cermaic is a forever chemical and is extremely harmful to aquatic life so we try not to wash them if possible. While at the same time microfibre takes 200 years to break down. Its really a shame either way haha. I personally don't reuse them for detailing because I can't stand how they don't absorb anything after the coating is in them haha

Chromatic Auto Detailing question? On ceramic carbon or whatever this type of brakes it’s need something special on cleaning wheels or you use standard wheel cleaner like iron x etc

Deston E. haha nooooo never. That would be super wrong. Every job is priced beforehand based on value proposition. Detailers shouldn’t be operating only hourly rates in my opinion

Thank you Rich! Its usually a case by case basis. If the vehicle is heavily contaminated I will do it once before any rinsing and then again after the wash. In this case it went bad what so ever!

Thanks Kory! Its Meguiars M105 on a Lake Country Microfibre Pad. A good combo but to be honest I much prefer the Griots Microfibre Cutting Pads
few questions bro, in a previous video i've seen you spray iron x then the foam on top of it then washed them together, but in this video you foam washed the car first then applied the iron x and tar x after wards, does it matter in which order they are applied? and second question is do you compound the whole car before polishing the whole car or do you compound then polish panel by panel until the vehicle is done? thanks bro!

Did you rinse the snow foam before contact wash?
Wouldn’t it be easier to use a smaller machine polisher / pad for more intricate parts/edges which a larger pad will almost certainly miss?

It’s been awhile since you’ve posted but I thought I’d give this a shot. How can I prevent water spots-mostly on glass ‘n mirrors-when post drying!
I dry instantly but the cars seem to dry faster than I can get to it. In shady might I add
Hey buddy! You should try spraying ONR on them before you even start the wash. I typically do it as soon as I rinse but I also work inside so the sun really isn't an issue. Doing it before should benefit you greatly
