Yes! I highly recommend getting it. Consider also getting a cover on cover for it. I noticed just now that the corners may be prone to damage.

Loved your selections! I ordered the weeks in the Falling Stars Sparklers design AND all 3 sizes of the black gingham planners (hope the Paper Series planners are not too flimsy for me).
Congratulations on your new Hobonichi books! 🥳 The sparkles is divine 😍 The gingham is a good light-weight planner. The cover is on the thin-side, similar to a sneaker mega (for the A6 & A5, but the weeks is thicker than a sneaker).

You’re right. The day-free in English is a wish right now. But they might roll one out (and the Avec too!) in the future 😄
I got the Sparklers cover as well, and it is so gorgeous! I also got the A5 HON, and that version is available in English now!

The plaid cover weeks was my favorite of this year... It may be my favorite of the last many years, too lol!!! I like so. much. It's so chic... In person it was even more impressive! I don't know why I like it so much... 😂❤❤

Now I'm thinking of getting it to use in another year, though 😆 🤦♀️ I also looked into the past years plaid designs out of curiosity... there was another one that I liked 😂 Let's see what's coming up next!!
I really enjoyed using my Hobonichi Cousin this year! So much that I fell down the Hobonichi rabbit hole.. I also bought 3 different versions of the Weeks for 2024 ☺ One of the covers I got is also the Falling Star Sparklers. It was just too beautiful for me to resist 🤩 I can't wait to see how you use them!

I love the Gingham weeks but I am afraid to bend the cover,also seeing how it looked when you opened the HON. How does the cover compare to a fabric weeks on that aspect? If you could try and show it in your next ineup/setup video it'd be awesome

I always watch your haul videos. I thought about getting the Black Gingham Weeks but watching this, I don’t know! Im not sure I’m going to like the paper feel even though I’ve always wanted a black Weeks!
Thank you for watching 😘 the gingham weeks is an okay book. Functionally, it upheld the quality and design that Hobonichi is known for. I’ve been in many types of Hobonichi weeks, and there are things in a weeks that I prefer (which were not in the gingham). If you do decide to get it, a cover on cover would make a lot of difference 😊
@@PaperJoyPH thanks! You actually got me thinking of the Relaxing Plaid- I’ve been obsessing over it all day! Lol. I don’t like using the CoC so the feel of the cover is really important to me.
I feel the same way about the Relaxing Plaid and all my Weeks for 2024. Last year, everything was in CoC. I'm switching it up this year, which is why I was thinking about texture this year :D
@@PaperJoyPH do you have some recommendations for Korean or Japanese planners to follow? I used to live in Japan a long time ago (pre Hobonichi days!) and I’d love to know some functional planners from either there or Korea.
This year they also offer a black leather weeks cover !!! It would be awesome with no cover on cover on!! And I personally like the overall feel of the leather in the weeks after seeing and touching it in person...! 🙂
I ordered an English A5 Hon on launch day... I guess it's just the A6 Hon that will have the English version released later

Yes, absolutely. The doll is very much a cultural practice that's all over Japan. I'm the same that I like rain too :) It's great to experience a little bit of Japanese culture with my Hobonichi purchase. I wonder what they would come up with next year!
