Hi, I am your host Siddhartha! I have been an entrepreneur from 2012-2017 building two products AddoDoc and Babygogo. After selling my company to SHEROES, I and my partner Nansi decided to start up again. But we felt unequipped in our skillset in 2018 to build a large company. We had known 0-1 journey from our startups but lacked the experience of building 1-10 journeys.
Hence was born The Neon Show (Earlier 100x Entrepreneur) to learn from founders and investors, the mindset to scale yourself and your company. This quest still keeps us excited even after 5 years and doing 200+ episodes.
We welcome you to our journey to understand what goes behind building a super successful company. Every episode is done with a very selfish motive, that I and Nansi should come out as a better entrepreneur and professional after absorbing the learnings.

Shashikumar at its best. Thanks to the neon show team for getting him talk.
We're really glad you liked the episode and pls do continue to support us 🙏
Sir mentioned that these days there is no diversity. Which is very true. The reason for this is machinations of everything. At the time of harvesting it becomes very difficult for a small farmer to get different types of machines.
Thank you for sharing your insights and we really appreciate you tuning in 🤗🙏

If we love our farmers, we must find a way to make people like Mr.Shashi Kumar more visible to our Parliment & state legislatures, the Supreme Court too. Our leaders must be made to listen. Mr. Shashi Kumar has analyzed the sustainability of farming. He is not only talking, he is walking the talk and those who are listening and practicing the best practices he has enumerated are benefitting. Thank you, Mr. Shashi Kumar & Thank you, team Neon.
This is some serious problems addressed by neon show, this is something everybody should be talking.

Thank you for tuning in 🤍
I have been an akshaykalpa customer for few years. Good quality produce and service.
What he said 100% right. My both parents made sure none of us become farmer. I remembered every struggle of them very well. Not only my parents, whole village none of them wanted thier children to be a farmer
It was eye opening and much needed work information considering the times we are in 😊
Very sad to see just 19k views for this amazing and informative podcast.
But we are very happy to see you here let's stay in touch!!
This Neon Show is simply OUTSTANDING & the viewers can learn a lot about the difficulties faced by farmers in India & why it is UNVIABLE.In fact India can feed the whole world because we have large tracks of arable land with a suitable climate throughout the year for various types of plants & if farmers adopt the CORRECT agricultural practices, nobody can stop India & in the process many unemployed youths will also be absorbed in agriculture.I think ITC is doing a great job in this sphere apart from Akshayakalpa. Are we learning anything from Israel regarding good agricultural practices?Govt's DEEP intervention is required to make agriculture profitable once again.Excessive use of fertilizer will make our lands DESERTS in the days to come.I could see a BRIGHT FUTURE for India where all the FALLOW lands including deserts will be converted into arable lands through technological interventions.Simply giving subsidies to farmers won't make them stick to their profession but govt need to HANDHOLD farmers & teach them good agricultural practices to make India a great exporter of agriculture products. We have to conserve water usage to a great extent because of huge water scarcity throughout India.Drip irrigation, cleaning of water bodies in villages/cities & construction of small check dams to conserve water should be resorted to on a war footing.
Thank you for your love and support! We hope to have these kinds of support through out our journey and promise to keep quality Content like these!
Great talk.
I want to suggest one thing that if important point of conversation is markrd out on a screen which can be place between the space of both of you, it would be benifit for us like being a student.
My heartful gratitude and appreciation for your efforts. It is refreshing to hear from pure and jeniune souls. The presentations is very pleasant with out unwanted noise and over acting.
Thank you so much Sir for writing back to us. It definitely made our day..Hope to hear from you for the next eps too :)
It’s a great video. It’s not fair to expect the government to invest in every business model and generate employment. Love this gentleman Mr. Shashikumar. It’s his formal education and exposure to working in Wipro, that enables him to look at the various challenges and turn them into opportunities. With new technology and focus on supply chain is the only way forward in India. This gentleman was emphasizing on Quality and End user engagement rather than price. India is not a poor country; we should know how to market. It’s the humility of this gentleman Mr. Shashikumar that engaged me watch the entire neon show with wonderful host one and only Siddhartha Ahluwalia.
We will become shrilanka by doing this
You are right sir no respectful earning for farmers. But now Isha foundation started awareness about farming and how to earn well.
Thank you for sharing the insights!
Very good episode every young bharatiya should watch

Thank you so much Shilpa for your kind words and for tuning in, Will consider your suggestion and reach out!
Thank you!
very useful, required and high time discussion. I would recommend it one of the best in terms of our farmers, food and our healths. Sad to see it did not reach many people as it could have been based on the number of subscribers. Siddhartha, maybe you can make top 10 or 15 highlighted points short videos of a minute or so each and push for outreach. Kudos to the hard work and new start up man. Thank you for bringing this up!
Really appreciate the kind words Tarun and glad you liked it so much 🙏🏾 we will definitely look to create more shorts from it and push for a wide release on it 🤝🏾
Excellent podcast. Very informative
Thank you so much for your kind words and for tuning in 🤗🙏🏾
A great content watching after long time
Thank you for tuning in should really tune into latest episodes!
Yes hes right but now we're teaching farners to go organic to protect your soil/land as a agriculture phd student
Where can I whole video of this?
What does Akshayakalpa do to its cows after they stop giving milk?
This individual's perspective on farming is riddled with misconceptions that warrant a dedicated podcast episode to address. While I understand his intentions to be helpful, it's individuals like him who inadvertently contribute to perpetuating the challenges our farmers face, hindering their potential to break free from the persistent rut.
Agree, that’s why it’s important the interviewer know to ask the right questions.
You can’t have more than 5-10% of the country live on agriculture and live a decent life. It’s also not possible to go fully organic.
Government is the biggest consumer of rice wheat and necessary pulses. So it will never let increase in msp of these items .. see the inflation around and inflation in rice .. 1kg rice costs ~50rs from past 15 years 😢
We hope it changes in future! Thank you for tuning in!

Isn't Akshayakalpa the organization that sponsors chess grandmaster Nihal Sarin, or is that a different Akshayakalpa?
Yes indeed! This is the same Organic Milk Company which sponsored Nihal Sarin.
Atleast someone talks truth
Glad you like it!
Very insightful podcast. Deep insightful discussion.
Thank you very much 🙌🙌🙌.
4 Quadrants @ farming sustainability.
Technology
Ecology
Economics
Diversity
Transformation of Indian farmer life from independent to dependent is 😢😢😢
We are really glad you liked it and thank you so much for tuning in 🤗
We need tech, diversity, economy, ecology in farming for it to succeed. But we are doing all of them wrong. We have small 2 acres farms so we cant use big machine, we use tubewell rather than using canals, no use of drip irrigation. Not having diversity only rice and wheat, sugarcane because of bad msp policy. No diversity so soil gets destroyed so we use excessive amount of chemical fertilizers so soil gets destroyed again. No use of bio fertilizer. So ecology is also destroyed. Lastly constant interference of gov in farming, not having free market results in less income for farmers. So farming economy is also bad. So basically we messed up every way possible
This is why the farm laws were proposed by the Congress government and implemented in Punjab. BJP passed the bill in the parliment but then the opposition had to cause a ruckus and disrupt the system arm twisting the government to take it back. Now who's at a loss?
Govt tried ...OK but farms laws were not allowed to be implemented
Why can't you explain farm laws
@@chinnu1964 1 year enough explanation was given . The middle men of Northern part India held the nation to ransom. The farmers of Deccan and southern india could have petitioned the govt to implement them atleast in their part of the nation . But no they felt it would be better to help opposition do politics around it .
They never touched on the topic of booze addiction in india
Look, I myself belong to a business family and understand that you don't want to leave money on the table for any reason. But you need to understand that there need to be some boundaries.
At 47:00 , it is being said that 10 thousand years back people domesticated cows for meat. 10 thousand years back means the times between the Ramayana and the Mahabharata happened. There were non vegetarians I agree on that, but we considered (and still do) cows as our mother. No matter whether you're a vegetarian or a non vegetarian you wouldn't even think of cow for meat back then.
In today's world there is no compassion and no gratitude towards either farmers or the source of these "dairy products". You think of aged cows as depreciated assets and try to salvage it selling at scrap values.
I feel so sorry for this era.
Edit: I like your podcasts and will continue watching them, had an issue with just this point, not the person or the show.
How many farmers understand English in India? You make information restricted becoz of language.
Hi there! We usually conduct our interviews in the language that the guest is comfortable interacting with hence English was predominantly used. As we continue to grow we will create content that will be more inclusive to those who aren't as well versed in English as well!
Why listen to his rubbish talk by saying cow was domesticated for meat etc
farming is BEST ever, just stay away form animal products. go full throttle vegetables produces or disapear
Glad you like it!
It's a truly good video or interview on exact facts..it is a time to change the present scenario of agri to integrated agri .I support what he said...Super , wonderful video..I love it..
This really means a lot to the team! Really thank you for your intense support! We hope that the current agri-scenario change and support the farmers.
Thank you so much for your kind words and we are so glad you enjoyed the episode this much! We really appreciate it when people who watch out episodes provide feedback whether that be very positive or negative so we are truly grateful 🙏
