Norm with Dennis always made comedy gold and IMO it is due to their friendship outside of their work. When Norm is comfortable with the other person he's talking with, it makes a gigantic difference. If only we could have seen footage of him going out to dinner with his comedian friends... I know it'd be close to impossible to top their uncensored conversations!

Who does the art? I can't say the likeness is spot on, but the feel (of that makes any sense) is spot on. They have an introspective, curmudgeonly desolation that is perfect for Norm stories/jokes. 😉 The peep hole thing is great, too.
