@@808Mark the acceleration on an r3 is actually faster and it revs out higher. The only thing that 400 really has over it is that it has a slightly better top speed and I can confirm this because I have ridden both and also out them against each other

A r3 will go plenty fast enough to kill you and most people dont have the balls to ride over 110. Sure some of us out here do it at track and sometimes in the streets. A r3 is all you truly need. They are insanely fun in the twisties and I ride a brand new R1 on the daily basis.
