This game marked the end of exciting Sacramento basketball that began in 1998-99.
C-Webb is already a shadow of his former self. He developed a reliable midrange but his game still defined by athleticism and explosiveness, both lost after prior knee surgery.
Minnesota somehow followed suit the next year.
KG has become a lone Timberwolf again for the next three seasons until traded to Boston.

these are my 2 favorite players, but Garnett is in his prime here and Webber is a few months back after he missed a YEAR after big injury and was not the same player anymore...

      He lost bounce and athleticism?

because of the microfracture surgery on his knee, Webber lost his lateral quickness and jumping ability.

With Webber healthy I think they would of eliminated the timberwolves because look kg and the in his prime and all and they nearly won by three

King's had the potential to three-peat from 2001-2004 with the game 6 scandal and Robert horry miracle game winner to Webbers knee injury@@gilbertcorral7153

Chris Webber almost made that 3 pointer, but alas it was not meant to be. I believe Webber's prime was just as high KG, Duncan, Malone, Barkley, Kemp, etc.

I knew it. This video ridiculously favors C-Webb. I counted the field goals and in the video, Garnett went 5 for 10, and Webber went 7 for 11. You know what actually happened? Garnett went 12 for 23, and Webber 8 for 17. 32 for Kevin, 16 for Chris. The guy who edited this included 7 of 8 field goals for webber, but edited out six misses. Sound fair?
KG had a monster first half, but nearly all that is edited out. What about KG grabbing Peja's shot out of the air? Or KG stealing Brad Miller's inbound pass, and blocking him in the critical seconds? Or him making a fadeaway 3 to bail Cassell out? KG had 32 points 21 rebounds 5 blocks and 4 steals to carry the wolves to victory. Sam was playing hurt, so KG even had to play PG in the 4th quarter. Cassell was the only other wolf to really contribute tho, with 23 points. The rest of the 3 starters COMBINED for 18 points, and Wally Szcerbiak was the ONLY bench player to score, with 10 points. The rest? 0,0,0... In short, Kevin had 32, Sam had 23, Spree had 14, Wally had 10, Trenten Hassell had 4. THAT'S IT.
Webber wasn't even the high-man for the kings. It was Doug Christie who went 9 for 17, 21 points.
In short, KG was dominant in terms of scoring, rebounding, defense, and even playmaking. Even though he only had 2 assists, he dished out at least half a dozen passes for perfect scoring opportunities that his teammates just threw away.
This is absurdly biased in favor of Webber. Just watch the whole game. It's one of the most spectacular demonstration of an all-around play by the MVP.

If i was hunting for likes, i wouldn't have done it in a video that itself had only 14 likes.
This is actually one of my favorite games and i just like talking about it, like we do in sports bars.

Webb not in his prime here, yeah KG played great and he was a great player but they barely escaped this series vs a one legged CWebb and disappearing act from Peja
