Triangles are used as a short hand for major. Usually you will see major7 written as either maj7 or 🔺7 (a triangle and then 7), and sometimes M7 (but that is easily confused with m7 which is used for minor 7, m7, and -7.

On this guitar, saverez. Either normal or high tension. On my Eastman, Thomastik 13 round wound. On strat, daddario 9 or 10s. I flip around a lot though and try out different strings and gauges.
