One of the biggest problems I've observed with modern dating is that is usually starts and is fueled by drinking. Im not a drinker and I decided I want to find a man who doesn't drink as well. I think where you are finding people (at the bar) is the biggest issue. What can you really expect? At this point in my life I want to be of service to others and surround myself with similar people. Also people are sleeping together way too soon which clouds your judgement of a person greatly.
I don’t drink anymore. I also don’t date! If I dated again I would have to have red wine for courage. The first few dates. Then not again.

I really became a Katie Maloney fan this last season and she seems like such a different person from season one . I cannot wait for her sandwich shop to open, so when I visit Southern California, I can go see it, although I do support her by getting some of her merch from the shop.👍🏼

Nah. I think people say that sometimes because of the way she dresses and styles herself sometimes, but she’s not interested.
I felt bad for her throughout her relationship & marriage with Tom, because she seemed SO frustrated the entire time by his general lack of interest in sex, and you could just tell she was low-key a very sexual person and desperately wanted that contact. That was a constant sore spot in their relationship.
I LOVED to see her dating that younger guy this season (as funny as his hair/eyebrow combo kinda was😂), because it was soooo nice to see her give and receive so much affection. They were all over each other, and I was like “yes, Katie, get it,” lol
Poor woman had 12 years of what seemed like minimal sexual contact. I don’t know if it was like that the whole time, but it definitely seemed like it was from the time the show started airing.

Such a good interview but I have one disagreement. Telling the truth in my opinion is so much harder than lying sometimes because people most of the time, don't want to hear the truth. People want to hear what they want to hear and nothing else. Also sometimes the truth involves a lot of memory and note keeping and if you are talking to a liar the truths you tell can seem like lies even if they aren't. Anyway don't be a liar, it's for cowards.

I find nothing funny about this woman. Talk about putting on an act. She lost the love of her husband because of her cruel, controlling behaviour. People conveniently forget that. As for being a good friend.... She has called all of her girl friends filthy names. All of them without any regret or an apology. This podcast is just gaslighting. Sorry but it’s true.
Ew. First off, stop acting like the show reflects their real life relationships. Like 75% of the full conversations and scenes are cut, leaving no real context or *intentionally* manipulating the outcome/context to create drama, that half the time didn’t even happen, and what’s made to look like a big deal wasn’t actually a thing at all. By the time these episodes air every season, there’s almost no conflict left amongst anyone, if any (this season is an obvious exception), because they are actual friends and have had conversation outside of filming, talked, apologies absolutely HAVE happened, and they’ve long since moved on.
And stop acting like they all haven’t called each other awful things at various points. They’re all guilty of that, and they’ve all clearly moved on from that. Pretending like you know what their relationships are actually like based on a few hours of television shot over a couple of months is absurd. They’re all fine, they’ve all grown from the early seasons - perhaps you should try to grow up as well.
By “controlling behavior” do you mean, asking - wait, sorry - having to BEG Tom to contribute in ANY WAY to their relationship? You must, because that’s literally all she was ever asking of him. Dude never put anything into the relationship, never did a thing, the multiple times he cheated on her and she tried to have a serious conversation about it, he tried to JOKE it off, and when she got rightfully upset, he had the gall to then start yelling at HER and getting mad at her, just like Sandoval did to Ariana, etc.
He was a terrible partner. He literally recently said that he’s not a good partner because he’s not actually that interested in other people, and just doesn’t want to put in any effort. Nailed it. Katie had to hold that relationship together for 12 gd years. How exhausting. He put in zero effort.
Nobody’s conveniently forgetting a damn thing. Most people just finally woke TF up because of absolutely awful behavior all-around this last season, towards her and in general regarding his lies and covering for the affair, and realized what she’s had to put up with.
Put on some glasses, and try rewatching their relationship from the start, using a human lens.
Imagine being her, and having to beg your partner to do any and everything.
Tom isn’t a bad human, but he’s an *admittedly* horrible partner. He just doesn’t care to actually be one.
