I know there are lots of monster TT-02's out there... If I'm lucky they will not have heard about this challenge until after it's done. Naw, a challenge is always nice.
Anyhow, this is my first official video entry into said challenge. It did not yield the results I was hoping for. I broke stuff. My fastest build needs everything upgraded to metal. It was nice to have more reason to see it in action. Hopefully I can get all the parts in quickly. I do still have other TT-02 cars I can set up so I will still have a brushed entry along with another brushless entry.
My speeds were not the best but do at least put me on the board. I will get more runs in as the week goes by. I do have lots of building still though... so stay tuned! - Zábava
That is a bit nuts! What we all need is an unused runway rather than competing with the traffic. Good luck with your speed runs going forward 😁
Definitely! The best spots I know are a bit of a drive to get to. Which isn't ideal when cars are still in the self imploding stage.... haha. And thank you! May the delivery companies have mercy on me going forward.

@@craziestmonkey yeah absolutely! I jist spent an hour digging through YT, and found yours, and a couple others that I had missed. So bizarre how you can search something, so specific, I'll get 5-6 accurate results, then I jumps to stuff I have no interest in... lol! 🤦
@@poorboysrc it really does! I'll pop youtube on at night while tinkering on the cars and try to work the algorithm but it really does need to be reigned back in every once in a while. I guess some of the tags we're using are quite working either. So for this event I've also just been searching "TT-02 Speedrun." Many of the latest vids in that category are related to the challenge you're hosting.
It's not a tamiya of course it's a wild build not one piece of this guys car is made by tamiya

Me neither! Just gotta wait on the new diffs... Fortunately I still have another one that can run on 3s and a brushed build that I've been working on. Thanks for check this out.

Thank you! I am waiting for new diffs now. Haha. My more reasonable car got a 73mph on 2s this evening so I'll be sharing that. I do hope to get this one back together and running again soon though.
That car is insane looking. Is this your first outing with it? If not, what is the fastest run you’ve had with it?

Thank you. These are actually the first real hits I've done with the car like this. I haven't previously gps'd or recorded this one, unfortunately. I have had a tt02 in the 80mph range on 2s. I'm currently rebuilding that car to fit within the challenge rules and to run on 3s.

Holy smokes I think we might be in trouble here.
I'm definitely trying to cause some trouble with my builds. Just finished mocking up a few parts to cut for the brushed tt02 and a Jackson Storm/Vendetta project I'm working on as well.
What body is that? I don't recall you mentioning in the video. It is very cool!
Thank you. It's the Bolink Air body. It's currently being sold by SabulaTech on eBay. It is styled after the Oldsmobile Aerotech speedrun car from the early 90's. I run this body on 4 of my speedrun cars.
Ok another guy that doest know what a tt02 chassis is . What part of that car is tamiya? This is a tamiya tub chassis challenge. Maybe use a tamiya?
🤣 This is the carbon chassis swap. The arms, (now stripped) gears, and a few trf bits are from the original TT-02SR that I cracked the bulkhead on. But don't worry I have 2 other plastic tub based cars that are in this competition as well. You're gonna love my TT-02F1 build...
Oh, and the diff covers and shock towers too.

@c.k.hobbyshop3351 😅 keep pushing. You'll get there. One of my other builds is already doing 73 on 2s. It also fits all your boxes. Apparently it also flies. As for legality, we'll let poor boys rc decide. (Get your petitions signed now)
