It's very nice of you sir that you visited Abigail Folger's gravesite. I went to see her grave in Colma, CA back in 2006 and yes it's a beautiful final resting place. Not many of you know that not only Miss Folger and her mom Inez Mejia Folger are buried side by side but also Abigail's grandparents from her mother's side The Mejia's are buried there not far away. Abigail short life shouldn't be forgotten. She would have been seventy five years old this year. May she rest in peace.

I always remind everyone about Steven Parent. He was a teenager who gave teenager William Garretson a lift, Garretson worked for Tate landlord Altobelli as a caretaker. Steven was a hustler, he came by and offered to sell Garretson a digital alarm clock, Garretson said no, so Steve left, he was met at the gate by Manson's murderers. Steven was the first to die. He wasn't famous so most people forget him. I always make a point of remembering him.

Roman Polanski's (Tate's husband) was friends with Wojciech Frykowski...Abigail Folger of course was Frykowki's girlfriend. The evening of the murders they had a late dinner at El Coyote and returned to the Tate home...Folger and Frykowski had been temporarily living there while Tate and Polanski were out of the country. Tate not been feeling well for several days (she was 8 1/2 months pregnant). Jay Sebring, an ex and still friend of Tate...and business associate of Folger was there just out of concern for her...Just in case anyone wanted to know the relationship between the victims. It's nice to see someone honoring the mostly forgotten of incidents like this...they deserve respect and to be remembered as well...Thank you :)

    • @psychoemt1970
      @psychoemt1970 Před 5 lety +12

It was before my time, I'm just a history geek...but Polanski had nothing to do with a bunch of psychopaths murdering anyone. Spineless cowards decided they wanted a race war and started by plotting revenge against someone who they thought wronged Manson. They we're at the wrong place at the wrong time. She would still be alive if the judicial system would have done their job in the first place. Manson had already spent most of his life in prison for various crimes before this even happened, and they kept turning him back out on the streets... Folger was there because she was the girlfriend of Frykowski, but her death wasn't his fault...yet had she not been there with him she would still be alive...js... I'm sure Polanski would much rather had his wife and son alive, rather than brutally murdered by psychopaths for no reason other than their twisted illusions.

It was brought up that just a few doors down was where the Tate massacre happened. People would walk down to that address, still the home was intact and same address I believe before it got changed. Everyone was getting some sort of kick out of it. I was so young I didn't know what to think. Talk about how things can be random or in the cards so to speak I question especially with regards to my own experiences. I had to go deep into my journals for clarification on this one, as it dimmed from my memory somewhat.

Couple of things that you perhaps didn't know about Ines, Abagail, and Voityck, his son Bartek, and Doris Tate Crime Victims Bureau:
Ines Folger was Abagail's mother, she was a socialite, and worked at one time at the Haight-Ashbury Free Medical Clinic, where Charles Manson and the girls went to get help at with their sexually transmitted diseases. In her 90's she met the Dalai Lama.
Abagail: She had gone to college and had a degree in Art History from Havard.
She had worked a couple of jobs before she volunteered in Watts.
The night of the murders she had called her mother, and an airline company for a plane ticket for the next day to fly out to Connecticut to celebrate her birthday with her mother.
Her father Peter paid people that did not show his daughter in a positive light at all times.
Her father Peter built a house soon after her death, he could not live in the home that she was brought up in.
At the time of her death, she was seriously thinking of breaking up with Voityck.
Voityck:was married twice and had a son named Bartek.
Abagail and Voityck spoke in French, and she was teaching him in English.
He kept a journal to write down American customs.
In 1971 a lawyer for Bartek Frykowski''s son who was only 13 at the time sued Charles Manson any royalties going to Manson were supposed to go to Bartek.
The band Guns N Roses used one of Charles Manon's songs on their Spagetti Incident album, the song was: "Look at Your Game, Girl".
Singer Axl Rose has pledged to donate all his performance royalties from the track to a nonprofit environmental organization.
Geffen Records will pass on its proceeds from the song to the Doris Tate Crime Victims Bureau, named for the late mother of Sharon Tate.

Doris Day's son Terry Melcher did too.A rock producer in those days.
Manson was angry Melcher didn't want to produce Charles Manson music. Manson vowed revenge

All the names are familiar to me. One "expert" was a news reporter who helped break a key component in the case. He moved to St. Louis, after the trial. So he would occasionally give story updates at his news post, at the CBS affiliate in St. Louis. I tried to read a couple different books about this case. But, the details were so revolting I could not stand to hear or read much about it any more. I confess, when I buy groceries and pick up a can of coffee I have a flashback, to these events. These were fine young people, who died in horrific circumstances. Thanks for the update, Steve.

Your deeply wrong they knew there killer's alright. There is drug connection between Tex Watson, Linda Kasabian, Jay Sebring, Voytek Frykowski and Abigail Folger too. Look really deeply all involved at Cielo Drive and the other murders like Leno and Rosemary Labianca, Gary Hinman, Donald ' Shorty ' Shea and the shooting of Bernard 'Lotsapopa ' Crowe which triggered of events that followed after 🤦‍♂️😢💔
