    Chiropractors are good for people without chronic issues. I've heard stories about patients who go to chiropractors and end up worse off. Never let anyone crack your back never less your neck.

      Ever since I've been going to Drs I had nothing but pain and suffering.. Drs are the cause of alot of health problems bo doubt about it.mthey want to smoke money off your body.. chiropractor may of screwed me up, pain management definitely screwed me up and getting neck surgery f-wd me up..now I have a worse spine than a 95 yearly old

      @alanlake4614 thanks for your compassion..I need to...I'm getting so bad that I don't want to even shower anymore..I was into working out and I can't no longer do that , even cardio it's hard to do only thing I can do is the bike...that's not even that fun meaning it's not easy..I was a bodybuilder I to working out .. perfect form didn't do anything bad to put my spine in jeopardy avoided those exercises,I've been working out since I was 10..never had any issues until I got health insurance and started going to Drs..I had minor issues with back from a fall and my neck from something else outside gym..but not nearly as bad until after all these procedures these bastard Drs put me thru....they saw money signs when they saw some minor thing on my MRIs and they were so ecstatic to do these procedures..I hsd the one Dr csll me constantly to see if i ess getting it done..thats a red flag right there snd of course i fell for it..he mustbof made 500k back 12 years ago..I ahte him so much i really hate most of these Drs that push these surgeries on you..I never really had successful surgery..even had carpal tunnel surgery and at the time I thought that was causing my arm pain because it felt good when I ran hot water under my hand but it was just a nerve..there was nothing wrong with my hand at the time actually the left hand was worse and he was another one that took advantage of me..that's evil thing to do to someone body ya know

    Degeneration is not always caused by age, As my Father has no degeneration at all (Scans he had) but I do. My c6 is Herniated from a high level sport injury as the rest of my spine has no degeneration at all. Most Herniating discs happen in Athletes and I think Preventative rehab is not taken seriously enough in the gym or in sports as a whole, we tend to focus to much on the thing's we need to strengthen to improve the sport or activity we are doing and not also focus on building the smaller muscles say around the neck before there is even an issue there.

    OMG absolutely seems like an ad for chiropractic. It was a chiropractor that herniated my first cervical herniation. I had an ache and he twisted my neck until the crack next day I couldn't move my head. Ended up in ER! NO to chiropractic witch doctor health care. I also have a herniated disc in lumbar spine due to another doctor trying three times to get the crack or popping sound. He put his knee and total body weight into my spine. Again next day couldn't walk both times in ER. Now I suffer several years later from this sort of procedure. I think we need to look into the statute of limitations as far as holding witch docs accountable. I will never let another chiropractor near me. Sorry for rant but this seems like an ad.

    • @justicenow7388
      @justicenow7388 Před 7 lety +1

      I had the same thing happen to me. I now suffer with migraines. I also had a Chiropractor herniate my lumbar spine. Once shame on you twice shame on me. I assumed that I was treated by an untrained witch doctor. There have been reported deaths from Chiropractors. They are now using there dangerous techniques on babies children and the elderly. This is a practice that should be reexamined by the medical community and outlawed. They destroyed my quality of life and ended my career goals due to be bed ridden. I suffer from intractable pain and now need surgeries due to these witch doctors. If it isn't broken don't fix it. There needs to be a change in the statute of limitations for suing these murdering witch doctors.

    always good to have as much info as possible about this kind of thing. they could have mentioned that the caffeine in tea and coffee leaches calcium from our bones, and soft drinks containing phosphoric acid can increase calcium excretion in your urine.
    Excess phosphorus promotes calcium loss from the body when calcium intake is low.

    Hi Everyone, I have been suffering for years from sciatica and bulging discs in the spike and neck. I have used something called Dry Needling which improved my condition around 80%. I started to feel the improvement after the 5th session.
    Dry Needling is similar to acupuncture, except that the physio sticks the needle where the pain is. This causes minor damages to the tissues to send a message to the brain asking it to repair this part, and also to produce chemicals to ease the pain.
    Good luck everyone.

    I Completely agree With Andrew McCoy's statements, as well as many other comments in this section, Although there are 2 main Schools of thought on this subject, 1 for chiro and 1 against, My Chiropractor, DR.FRANK MORGERA, in Brooklyn NY is the BEST BY FAR, Although My Condition Which is, Cervical Degeneration, caused by years of Boxing and having my head snapped back over and over, then I have 4 Herniated disc's in my Thoracic area, and a ruptured Disc in a really Rough spot to get at L5-S1 space and Other Issues involving Nerve & Muscle Spasms in my Lower and Mid-back.....I Cant STRESS Enough to people NOT to take their Spine for granted AT ALL. NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I was told that if I SNEEZE I Could Be Paralyzed by my Pain DR who sent me to a Great Neuro-Surgeon in LI NY. He said I Must have surgery, But after watching Numerous Video's on the Procedure (NDRI) I'm to scared. They tell me I have a 50-50% chance of being Paralyzed During the surgery. I'm STUCK

I am 57 and have intermittent neck stiffness, weakness in my arms and shoulders, and loss of range of motion. What should I consider when deciding between the 2 surgeries? Do you still wish to end your life? I hope not. As one who has struggled with many physical pains and diseases for most of my life, I identify with your dilemma. For me, it's not just the physical pain that hurts me, which I manage with medication, exercise and rest periods throughout the day. Physically, I am in a holding pattern, with steadily decreasing abilities. The world expects me to "Man-Up" and keep up with the rest or be marginalized.So, here I am in the margin of physical life and see that I am not alone. I am forced by my conditions to either blame my parents and God and the medical system and the economy and so forth...or...trust in God with all my heart and not lean on my own understand. Jesus walks through the fire with me and I see that it brings Him no joy to see me suffer. He has promised my spirit will eventually inhabit a perfect body which can do no sins and will never get sick. He has promised an end to sorrow and my fullness of joy. Though physical and emotional healing may come to me before I leave this frail body, I must have faith enough to keep bringing my struggle and hurt to Him. He beared the shame and pain of the cross at Calvary to break the curse of sin. My pain is a reminder that while my soul has been redeemed by God, my body is still waiting for that regeneration. When I encourage myself to read God's word, pray and somehow go out to help others, my self focus disappears and whatever pain is a shadow compared to the eternal peace I will know as a child in the kingdom of Heaven.Take courage and bless God by not giving up.

      I know several million people that lost their lives due to drug reaction, poor surgery, infections in hospital... No one has EVER died as a result of chiropractic treatment. The chance of a stroke from a chiropractic treatment is no greater than seeing your medical dr and not receiving treatment. (1 in 5M) A chiropractic adjustment of the cervical spine has been proven safe over and over again. The movement required for a cervical spine adjustment is less than you would require looking to cross the road. Decades of research has debunked any causation link between cervical stroke and a chiropractic manipulation. It appears surgeons and researchers know chiropractic is safe, whereas the lay person is stoked with tabloid articles which scare monger and misinform. If you really are interested in this issue, I urge you to do a proper literature search.

      By correcting abnormal spine shape, e.g., restoring the cervical lordosis (only 1% of chiros know how to do this) can allow the discs to repair. Not always, but depends on how much degeneration has occurred. Realise, the disc degeneration is 'because' of abnormal spine shape in the first place. (due to old trauma, asymmetrical leg length, etc etc) If you think it is not, then your posture has not been assessed correctly. (again, it is only the 1-2% that know the latest research on posture assessment and correction - www.idealspine.com)
