I just love this arrangment and it actually showes how good the words ozbourne wrote are, they're usually smothered by the amazing music.
But it's not Ozzy's lyrics.
@@metramaks Then whose? It is written by Ozzy, Roads and 1 more? So?
Bob Daisley wrote those lyrics. Ozzy doesn't ever write lyrics. Even is Sabbath Geezer Butler wrote the lyrics.
His name is Bob Daisley, bassist and lyricist for Ozzy's for most of his albums in the 80s and 90s.

One of the days, someone needs to write a book or make a documentary about the behind the scenes of the Postmodern Jukebox crew. In particular, I want to know the story of tambourine guy.
He's either a friend or relative of a band member who isn't quite talented enough to actually be in the band, but he cried and whined about joining until they finally got sick of listening to him so they eventually said "Holy shit f$%K it, give him a tambourine so he'll shut da f up"! That's my guess.
He's actually a very succesful children's book writer.
he is a gift from the gods
@@mirkomorala3065 I think he may well be. When I feel down, which seems often in the last few months, I watch a video with Tambourine Guy and my mood is immediate vastly improved.
@@JohnHWelch63 He's actually a Grammy winning artist. There is a video on here somewhere about him.
This is my absolute favorite PostModern Jukebox Cover. Jennie Lena has the most charisma and personality of any of the singers and she gives you every ounce of herself in her music. I wish they would do more with her.
And how often do you see female '40's jazz singers performing barefoot?
@@DTD110865 found the foot fetish guy
this woman has an amazing crazy voice...this is the best Crazy Train cover i've ever heard.
Ozzy must be yelling “Sharon”!!!! Come look at this, bloody brilliant.
For sure! Ozzy digs big band music, I'm sure he would love this version.
@@juanc1328 ok grandpa take your meds and sit down
@@juanc1328 You must be stupid, almost all artists if you ask them enjoy ALL types of genres of music and Randy would probably dig the fact they were original in converting it to a Big Band song.
@@juanc1328 Ah ah, your life must be so sad
Tambourine guy appears and immediately it all goes up to eleven.
9/11
I enjoy the bit of goofiness. Watch Careless Whisper for more of the same.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
If tambourines were metal it would be that guy
Hey! Mr Tambourine Man! Play a song for me
"Learn how to love and forget how to hate". Words to take to heart in today's world. "Goin' off the rails on a crazy train" pretty well sums it up also!
Oh man, now it is even better matching the situation. Especially when you in Ukraine
@@volodymyrsukaloOh I bet that Cold war bit hits even more too. Slava Ukraini!
@@namelastname871 Geroyam Slava!
I love the way she sings, I love the way she dances, I love the way she's having fun...I love her
Uhh ok
She is excellent.
...Bare feet...😍
SAME!! AND THE DUDE DANCING WITH HER TOO HE'S SO FULL OF ENERGY
today i learnt that i don't know the words to crazy train
HA! Me too. Actually, the more I think about it, I don't know if I've ever heard Crazy Train beyond the first 30 seconds or so.
Not sure Ozzy ever did either, to be honest.
As incomprehensible as Ozzy speaks normally, he's a fairly coherent singer imo. Just listen to Solitude from Master of Reality, he's perfectly understandable in that one.
lol, that is the first time I really understood the lyrics after listening to Ozzy countless times. They're pretty good!
HAHA... Can imagine you singing along driving. I know I do that and often don't really know the words to songs haha
I never thought that anyone could keep up with Tambourine Guy...but here comes Jennie Lena. I think I found my new favorite PMJ video!
Ohhh, this is absolutely my favourite Postmodern cover of all time. Unlikely source material? Check. Mad vamping performance? Check. Banging piano solo? Check.
Perfection.
Wow. That's one of the very best PMJs I've ever heard.
The legend of the Tamborine Man continues...
Bradley Harrington Oh how I've missed him!
Yesss
acegeek He is a joy to behold
YES!!! Waited a long time!
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come following you
Someone told Tim Kubart that he couldn't steal the show with nothing but a tambourine. He looked 'em in the eye and said, "Hold my redbull."
He shouldn't have been so uppity with all the stupid faces
Just stupid.
gohansolo1980 🤣😂 Red Bull and crank u mean
@@artkarounos816 it's called "redballz" its cocaine in a can!
Cori Wimmer 😂😂😂
I absolutely love the energy from the singer, and Tambourine Guy. Such a fun performance!
I haven't seen the tambourine man in ages, glad he is still buds with them. And he's so happy, I want to feel like him when i go to work.
*Christopher Walken voice*
"I'm sick, and the only cure is moRE TAMBOURINE"
I got a fever, and the only cure is more cowbell.
Normally the cure is cowbell. But in this case...ill make an exception and allow tambourine.
This was exactly what I was thinking!
lol
Jennie has a "crazy clear" voice. Great job everyone.
I've been binging videos in no particular order, and I've finally gotten to the tambourine guy everyone goes on about. The hype was real. Go tambourine guy, go!
"You'v gotta listen to my words..."
I never heard words in this song. Thank you for this opportunity to understand idea of this song! Cheers!
Complains in Ozzy.
So *that's* what Ozzy was saying.. huh.
And Scott, your Randy Rhoads licks did not go unnoticed. Nicely done!
Now you know why he was so demonized.... ;)
"Mental wounds, not healing." Ahhh, makes more sense now! 😕🤔😮👌😁
Tambourine guy looks like he’s going off the rails on a crazy train
That's Tambourine Guy in a nutshell.
Well, at least he's having a lot of fun doing it.
a metal hymn for many years now and with every cover version becoming more and more a legendary song in general
THERE she is! Miss Jennie got what's prolly the fastest four-chair turn in The Voice of Holland history. No surprise to see her working w PMJ.
It's funny to look at how Crazy Train is actually a wholesome and socially progressive song given everyones' first impression (and Ozzys' old rep of biting off bat heads).
This is my favorite cover by postmodern jukebox, jennie lena, the guy in the background, the energy, the dancing, its all perfect!
the choo-choo train whistle was a nice touch by tambourine guy; obviously multi talented.
Jennie Lena, absolutely smashed it. well done. Liked this many years ago but after listening to it so many times figured I should say something.
Oh sweet mercy. How do these just keep getting better? This arrangement was insane, the vocals were so good they're probably illegal in several states, and Scott's solo? We need more Scott solos. Bravi tutti. This was ridiculously good.
One of the best vocal performances i've ever heard
The guy with the tambourine knows how to rock’n’roll yo!
😅❤
listening to Ozzy for so many years and then listening to this is like starting over, thank you for this wonderful versions.
I never thought I'd love so much a cover of my favourite song. This is the best cover I've ever head. Such feeling, passiong, pain and madness.
The contrast of the message of the song with Tim's moves and mood is awesome! Happiness is a discipline of finding joy in life...Thanks for this!
Very Nicely said about Happiness. Enlightening!
me and the boys chillin in cliffgaurd
Absolutely phenomenal! Her high notes right before the solo were epic!
Tambourine guy is having way too much fun.
Long live Tambourine Guy! ❤️
Love that guy on the tambourine. Really getting it back there
It amazes me that after watching this so many times, it was only now that I heard that voice crack at the beginning. Guess that's just how crazy good this cover is. Like, this is honestly one of my favorite PMJ videos.
I think Randy Rhoads would love the opportunity to see this. As a Randy and Ozzy fan, I think the piano solo and interpretation was done well and with respect to the original. Well done.
That was fantastic, even if it wasn't the Motown sound. More like some hot jazz. Loved it when Tambourine Guy had the hat and the train whistle. He and Jennie dancing together was too cute! My band does this song, and I sing it, so I was not surprised as far as the lyrics. Jennie has an amazing voice!
They look like they're having an absolute blast and I love it!
I like that the bassist loves Tambourine Guy as much as we all do
This is the first time I've actually heard and understood the words to this song.
Really? I never had trouble understanding them in the originals.
I think what I like most about this cover, besides it being God sent, is the fact that they're all clearly viben with it, and that's amazing. Love this cover!
I love how Tim Kubart is literally
"Tambourine Guy" in the credits
I want whatever he's on. He seems so happy with life
This goes to show: a good song can hold its own in any genre or style.
This went from 860 to 2,430 while I was watching it! Killing it PMJ! Great song! Great Performers!
How come no one commented that the two dancing is adorable
Lol No idea
You just did
Офигенная аранжировка! Ребята на сцене - энергия в чистом виде. Не знаю как для вас, но для меня это сразу топчик PMJ. Спасибо!
This is a top 5 PMJ performance for me. Jennie Lena kills it.
The best! Those vocals....Jennie Lena is da bomb!!
OMG Jennie!!! Yessss girl!!! I LOVE IT!!
This rendition of Crazy Train is jaw dropping unbelievably amazing. Who would of ever thought besides you all that this could be done, WOW!!
Ya gotta love it. Jennie is amazing, Scott rips the piano and dancing to a cool jam to close it out. I want more!!
OMG!!! She is perfect!! In every way
I don't mean this in a sexual way; damn, she knows how to move
He does too, but that goes without saying.
What about the way tambourine guy moved? I think his performance was far more impressive than hers
I mean this in a sexual way; damn, she knows how to move.
Also, if I was her and the band, I'd be annoyed with putting such a gutsy, highly-trained, historically accurate performance and having that guy dominate the video with horsing around.
Seriously? More like a combination of William Shatner and Joe Cocker, and not in a good way. At least Mick Jagger got guidance from Tina...
I mean this in a sexual way: they could both tag-team me like they did that tambourine.
At the end she dances Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson and goes into a duckwalking. Yes indeed she can move.
All those sophisticated skills and talented musician, a guy playing a fool stole the whole show
"Good morning everyone! This is your host, Jeff Bateman with craterview morning news!"
*internal crying*
i need a playlist that contains only songs with the tambourine guy in them

Anyone else watch this whole thing & just go "But where's her shoes?"
That's the best part... wondering where they are then not giving AF!!!
I have found that truly talented people don't like wearing shoes, it's like they have to be grounded and connected to the Earth at all times. My band teacher in high school was always loosing his shoes, at one point he had to borrow a student's because he needed to wear them for our concert to look professional. We had several students that just wandered the room without shoes. they hated them, and they were also some of the most musically talented people I have ever meet. If you look closely to some artists, there are actually quiet a few who prefer to go shoeless.
Caitlyn Berwick-McLean Not really into her outfit either 🙄
@@Rosewood185 I don't mind it, it's not really my bag, but then I don't have to wear it.
@@robinletourneau6479 wow now that is a great explanation
Did any other After The Flash fan find this? Damn Chad really picked good cover songs for ATF7 Mirage, the new ATF8 Wintertide radio is just bad lol.
True
Yes. I'm looking forward to a project called Tidewater bc it's recreating 6, and might keep the songs too.
Every video is better when Tambourine guy is in it. He is pure joy!
That. Was. Stunning
Surprising how a slight change in tune can make a song sound so different yet still as great
God! That run going into the break!
Thanks for another fun PMJ version of a classic song. Seeing your band have so much fun makes the world a better place.
All aboard, hahahahahahaha !!! :)
Aye aye aye!
Classic ozzy
I would have lost my shit if that was included
I love everything PMJ puts out
Great vocals! She has a great voice!
2:05 - 2:14 What a voice!
I can't believe she's 40. She's so frigging amazing I scream every time I hear her 'cause I'm so damn jealous. I love you, Jennie! And for those of you on here who just discovered her, check out her live version of "I'd Rather Go Blind". You will not find a better version in the history of the song. (No offense Ms. James and Ms. Hart)
They're both having so much fun!!!
What a great tribute to Ozzy!!!!!
The tambourine guy makes me so happy!!!

Same lad! After the Crash is truly a game of existence.
Love it! It reminds me of the song in the intro for the show the Osborn family used to have!
Finally - a tambourine solo - and they said it couldn't be done.
Thank you tambourine guy and PMJ
I love this woman. She amazed me on the voice and seems to be getting even better!
1. Liked before watching
2. Watched
3. Did not regret liking
:D
Scott played that solo and I was like holy crap he rock
I rarely pay much attention to the lyrics of a song but the message in this song is very accurate and heavy. Congratulations to the writer. Also a great job by the band, singer and Tambourine Man. I’ve watched this several times and seem to get a little bit more out of it each time.
I love this, I love PMJ, if anyone can go, get your tickets now. They are amazing.
