My pal RL Martin came by the garage before we went to see an early viewing of The Joker. We were wondering what to play when train after train went by. He just started playing Crazy Train. Andrew captured it. One take and off we went. I know some of y'all are not gonna like what I did here, but I'm gonna go where the muse takes me. I'm just inviting you to come along for the ride. To see what happens. Let's go!
Many thanks to Bob Daisley, Randy Rhoads & Ozzy for writing such a powerful song.

@@PuddlesPityParty awwwwww
I'm not. Puddles is a treasure.
There can be many things in life to be sorry about. Clicking on a Puddles video is not one of them. (And finding another obscure video of Puddles taken by a fan is fun. I just clicked on one a few hours ago).
@@PuddlesPityParty You crazy
Puddles should do more 80s songs, the power behind his voice is a lost art that 80s bands would have coveted
In reality he did. He's done a lot of touring in different genres. The clown outfit came after.
I love his voice too, I'm glad I got to hear his stuff, I was a puddles virgin until this morning lol!!! I'm so glad he has made it and I really am glad to listen to his different style, I loved the originals but its nice to hear a change sometimes🤡 (sorry they really need a better emoji for you)
Yes, some foreigner would be great. Also, Fleetwood 😊
I like Ozzy. This song has been around nearly my whole life! I headbanged to the rhythm in my car for years and years. But today hearing Puddles sing it, I finally heard the words and they are quite meaningful and timely. Well done!!!!! Now excuse me while I rabbit hole down as many Puddles videos as I can find! Well done sir! You are a gift!
Right????????????? I never knew the words either its chillingly amazing
Ditto, sounds like he could have been or Is an opera singer. Great voice, great delivery👍💯🌹

Already doing the same. No I did was Google what puddles pity party was doing now after America's Got Talent, and all his CZcams videos were shown.
That was Amazing 👏
This is one of my top 3 favs of Puddles. His Crisp voice..obviously natural talent..simple oddities...this is what 2022 means to me!
My new favorite version, seriously Puddles has ridiculous talented.
Let's give a big shout out to RL Martin for his excellent guitar work!
He's cute =)
I love Martins playing, so I always do. But then I admit to playing guitar as well, lols.
Really WTH
Thanks guys! Always a pleasure to play with Puddles!
So true. That was beautifully done.
This guy one of the purist baritone voices I've ever heard.
Warm, powerful, and expressive voice. Beautiful!
He's not a baritone, he's a low tenor.
@@GlassTopRX7 Second tenor. ;)
Word! clear loud beautiful...Like super HD audio
GlassTopRX7 how so? How can you tell ?
I LOVE Puddles' version so much. This is a great tribute to Ozzy! 🔥❤️✨☺️✌🏽
Puddles…you OWNED it!
Your existence is a blessing on this world. The pure artistic intention, lack of “shame” and the pure raw talent of someone who needs to have their voice heard. You are absolutely amazing.
Well said!
Stephen, I wholeheartedly concur. It's a joy to listen to a true musician express themselves in such a meaningful manner. Just rediscovered him this evening and I hope he's performing live somewhere!
one of the blessings he has is he knows
Absolutely point on
You are absolutely stupid
Am the only one who thought Ozzie might come in and hug Puddles at the end?...
That's what I was expecting.
It would have been cool if ozzy just walked in with a bottle with a note in it and pointed at him with an inquisitive expression then gave him a big goofy flower that squirted water in his face, then gave the famous look at the camera" after all" he is the prince of darkness!
So... ??? why does it say something about Ozzy at the end.? just to get viewers.? What a bunch of Crap ..!
@@crashvidz because ozzy is the artist of the song myfriend" you may notice that most all videos of someone singing someone else's song is titled the same way, I'm think what may be confusing is that it saying surprise ending after ozzy" I dont know what the suprising ending was? I dont know puddles that well, maybe it was the reaching out and consoling the guitar player? I know this cant take back what you feel your out by clicking or get back what you think puddles got from your watching video, You know you could just search ozzy videos and he would be in the hole thing instead of going off the rails because he didn't make a cameo at the end of one 🤘
He might say: "I'm your student".
Never realized how poetic this song is....
Ozzy can write!
Most of Ozzy's songs are really deep especially his solo stuff from the 80s like this song. I highly recommend any of it.
Well said ...... arteblack13
yep... when some songs are actually listened to, one can see how real and immortal they really are.
Indeed, he actually had me focusing on what is said vs just rocking out
NEVER EVER would I approve of anyone attempting to remake an Ozzy tune. I APPROVE!
Man Ozzy was really deep when he wrote this , the lyrics tell a story that explains it itself. Great cover and emphasis of emotion

OH MAN! I am ugly-crying for that to happen!!!
Kenneth Thompson hi
He might not drag like the rest of anyone non military or orchestral background
Some of the idiots would misconstrue his clothing as a diss while at the same time many folks have seen him on America's Got Talent and other venues. It would be beautiful, I'd be down with it. I'd like to see him included in the half-time show doing a medley of songs.
I didn’t want to watch this, but I’m so glad I did. This was incredible. After 30 years of “hearing this song” I just heard it for the first time.

Listening without hearing. Or hearing without listening. I'm confused.
Exactly. I didn't even like this song until i found this.
One of the most beautiful voices with ridiculous ranges from high to lows than most singers now or in the past. From beingMike Geier, to Big Mike, to King Sized to Puddles. You should be mainstream and rolling in the fame and the money instead of having to go to a gimmick to showcase your talent.
Much success to you Mike.
I'm a fan of Oz and all Ozs guitar player.i have to say this version is frigin awsome..A hits a hit no matter the style of it..Ozzy and Puddles both legends..I just came across Puddles a week ago and was floored by this guys voice and the emotion he grabs the audience with..
I don't care what anyone else says. I found this by accident and it was the best accident ever 😁 this guys voice is great.
I became a fan years ago when he was on AGT. He's got a lot of great music mashups and straight up renditions that put old songs into a new light a

Best acoustic version I’ve ever heard❣️
What's not to like about this version of Ozzy's Epic Classic ?...Loved the twist...Ending from The Police...Awesomeness
When Puddles pointed to "Let's Go" I felt that.
I loved it too...
Yeah did it get you hyped up? 😆
When you’re too crazy for musical theater, and too talented for a 9-5, you get this.👍🏼
Ive heard this song, but Ive never HEARD this song before. Love ya Puddles. 🥰
Damn son, you are talented. This is great. I had seen you on one of those talent shows and knew you were talented. Damn, this performance is awesome man. Great job and great choice.
Ozzy is awesome. You did this justice.
This was honestly one of the coolest covers of Crazy Train, I’ve ever heard...well done, Puddles!
Why am i crying.
Puddles your voice is beautiful thank you for all your hardwork
I'm so fortunate to have been an audience member for this gem of a performance.
Sometimes a stripped down song is so much more revealing than a highly produced one. Never have I heard this number as 'bluesy' as this version and all the better for it. Excellent.
WOW. This song is deep. You gave the lyrics justice for an Ozzy fan here. I can hear the meaning even more beyond the metal. Listened a few times. WOW.
Back in the day, so many people thought that Ozzy was the devil, but all he sang about was truth, love, and corruption. Such a gifted artist. Moreover, most the stuff he wrote about became current still, as it is timeless, beautiful, meaningful and poetic. Puddles Pity Party, you did this song justice for the poetic ear for the next generation without the metal. Just beautiful...
I really started listening to this closer after reading this. You are so right!
@@GeorginaHnatiuk Ozzy didn't write the lyrics. The lyrics for the early Ozzy albums were primarily written by Bob Daisley (who also played bass on the records).
This is absolutely brilliant, that guy has a voice, strong and stable. Profound but brilliant.
Very stable genius!
Best new voice in a while
Absolutely stunning performance buy both Puddles & his guitarist. True artistry. So glad I discovered you on AGT. Your voice is elegant, powerful and resonates to the soul. Your visual expression is equally as powerful. Thank you so much for expressing how most of us feel but can't express it. I'm actually autistic. Art heals. Bless you both. 🙏
I never really listened to the words until I heard this rendition. I like how Puddles articulated them. I dig the song a 1000 times better!
When I first heard Puddles it was his cover of "All the Small Things" and it was honestly one of the greatest covers I'd ever heard. Granted it wasn't just Puddles doing the cover, but his voice is one of few to ever give me goose bumps. As a passionate music fanatic, I can say with pure confidence that Puddles has one of the greatest voices I have ever heard, and every time something new is released it's as mind blowing as the first time ever listening to him sing.
I first thought “this is gonna be stupid”. I was way wrong. I watched the whole thing. Highly impressed. Great job. Great sound.
First time for a Puddles experience?? Peruse his page, Rainbow in the Dark will be forever changed for you...
His "Wish You Were Here" will melt your heart too.
Ham John I just found it. Holy shit this is awesome!’
Kay Andrews I saw he does Pink Floyd’s “Mother” but I can’t find it.
First??
This person voice blows me away...
You'd think wearing the Clown suit would make him a joke, but it does a wonderful job of contrasting him and his voice... Pure brilliance in my opinion...
And he sings so clearly compared to the distorted original versions I've heard over the years that I can actually understand the lyrics... Which makes the songs even better...
I love heavy metal, but sometimes ya just can't understand what they're singing to the point it takes away from the song...
Close my eyes and imagine PPP without the makeup and costume, to be transported by his voice, and all his amazing selections of songs to sing. Sublime
What did I just watch?
Words cannot do justice to how darkly brilliant this cover really is. Pointing to “Let’s go” at just the right time - sharp. Bringing the lyrics to light and life - bonus. Throwing in a few bars of “Message in a Bottle” - mind blown.
Way to take a silly concept and reach people on so many levels.
The fade into Message in a Bottle was fucking seamless !!!
I caught that also
Your voice, your expressions, are truly amazing.
Brilliant rendition of this classic. Excellent acoustic guitar. Great touch with the train in the background.
This {not Clown at all}'s voice is amazing!... This was almost a capella and his flawless and attractive rendition really shines - that's what talent is all about!
My name is Roger I have been listening to Ozzy all my life and I am 49 years old I've never heard this song sung in such a beautiful way for some crazy reason the song has touch my spirit more than it ever has before keep on doing what you're doing but you sang this song beautifully and the guitarist that broke this song Down and played it in such a wonderful way words cannot describe other than thank you
I agree. The rendering was very pure.

AGREED! minus a handful of years. 😉
With a voice like that, he could easily be in Queen. He sounds so much like Freddie.
I was thinking the same thing.
OR was Freddie channeling his inner Puddles?????
no. nope. sorry, with all due repsect no, no. Go treat yourself to man in the street Marc Martel sing 'Somebody to Love'. Then let's talk about who could easily front Queen...
I've been hearing this man's voice for yrs totally enjoy the way he sings.
This should be 2020's theme song. With Puddles singing it just like this.
Agreed.... Oh yeah.
Most definitely. I love Puddles and normally clowns scare me.

Haha yes
Right on brother so true
"The media sells it and you live the role"
Ozzy came up with some very insightful lyrics going all the way back to the earliest days of Black Sabbath.
Ozzy didn't write any of the Sabbath lyrics, it was Geezer Butler. Not sure he wrote very much of the material on his solo albums either. Good entertainer though.
Media was lying back then as it is now
Bob Daisley wrote most of Ozzy's lyrics. The best of Ozzy Osbourne was Kerslake, Daisley, and Rhoads.
Whoever wrote the lyrics, I'm more curious about the slander/libel that took place in the media about Black Sabbath and similar bands being satanic in attempts to discredit the truths they were singing about.
@74 torino Ozzy is plenty human I reckon. Fame, fortune, and the bright lights don't always bring out the best in a person.
I've enjoyed listening to both Ronnie James and Ozzy over the years. I actually found myself seated in a booth next to Ozzy in a Mexican resturaunt back in the mid 80s. He was drunk as a skunk of course, but we had a decent conversation until his body guards showed up.
I love when you cover Ozzie, I can finally understand the words. You do it your way which is GREAT! I think you could make any song sound wonderful, while doing it your way.
Puddles, such a beautiful and powerful rendition. I’ve watched your Crazy Train so many, many times and it never fails to blow me away. Thank you.
I love the silent "Aye Aye Aye" in the beginning and the "Let's Go". Subtle nods.
I don’t understand how people can dislike this video. The talent here is incredible
ignorance i guess
I concur
I thought it was decent. My wife hates it.
They just need to learn how to love and forget how to hate.
Haters gonna hate, haha
Such a powerful, captivating voice with amazingly clear enunciation.
So... I'm back on the Puddles radar for excellent vocal renditions of literally EVERYTHING he sings. Puddles, and his frolicking band of musical misfits, show true talent through their interpretations of songs. Having not seen much of what he's done in a while, I hope that he has created some of his own music on top of these few masterpieces I've had the distinct pleasure of listening to. Puddles, I'm a fan!
"Message in a bottle" part caught me off guard. Just amazing

The best part of this version is that you can actually understand the words and emotions behind them. Well done!
I always could personally, and so I love both versions. But then I'm a fan of many metal groups/songs, as well as a fan of something from almost every other genre of music. Not every genre is for everyone ofc, and this is a good thing, but that doesn't mean one genre is better than any other. The varied personal tastes of the individual are why we even have any of these genres. Without that individuality, quite literally none of these genres would even exist.
