I love your recipes... I love the way you teach and instruct us on how to fix them... I love your soft Southern in speaking.... And most of all I love that you're Christian... Thank you so so much... Your presentations are very comforting to me
We are so glad to have you watching our channel. Your comment has made our day! Thank you so much for your kindness.
😊
Your monkey bread looks wonderful. Mine is done differently of course. Some hints:
1. Use cans of cinnamon rolls (so delicious!)
2. Stack 3-4 biscuits together and cut with a pizza cutter. It’s much faster.
3. I don’t dip in the butter. The biscuits are sticky enough that the cinnamon sugar sticks very well. I put the cinnamon sugar in a gallon bag put in some pieces and shake a little to coat then put in bundt pan. The biscuits are sticky enough without the butter dip.
3. Put in the bundt pan as you did.
4. Then in a pan melt one stick of butter, brown sugar, cinnamon
and pour all over the top. Bake as you did.
Thanks Tom and Melissa
Thank you for this! I was just thinking that when I made this I poured the butter and sugar on top after putting in the lancet pan but I couldn’t remember exactly how I did it! That’s for the refresher! I think I just used the leftover cinnamon sugar in the melted butter but to be honest I don’t remember. Love this stuff!
I make mine the exact same way and it turns out so delicious and gooey!
I make mine the same way.....I was baffled when Tom didn't pour the brown sugar, butter and cinnamon mixture on the top before baking it.
Yes using the canned cinnamon rolls is a game changer! The biscuits don’t come out as sweet tasting.
I can't eat nuts so when I make monkey bread I dice up apples very very small and distribute them through out and it's. Kind of like an apple fritter taste. Thank you so much I haven't made this for awhile so it looks like I will be making this real soon Thank you very much. I love to watch you and your wife do these videos
That's a great idea if nuts bother you! Thanks for sharing it with us all. We are so glad you are watching our channel. Have a wonderful day!

I’ve been married almost 51 years & have cooked and baked a lot, I have never baked this. I make a Italian monkey bread. It’s absolutely delicious. Now I’ve got to try this… it looks delicious! Thank you for sharing another scrumptious recipe. ❤
Thank you for your marriage inspiration, and 🌹CONGRATULATIONS🌹.... We're almost at the halfway mark of yours marriage.

I would love if you shared the Italian monkey bread recipe as well! 🤗💕💕
@@SW01 I’d be happy to. This is totally different. I use 2 cans of regular biscuits ( not flaky).
2 cans biscuits
1 package of small pepperoni
1 jar tamed jalapeños ( Paramount brand)
I can black olives
I jar green olives
1 stick butter melted
1 8oz pkg shredded Italian cheese
Italian seasoning
Pizza sauce for dipping but is delicious without the sauce
Open 2 cans of biscuits
Drain the olives and tamed jalapeños
Flatten out each biscuit in the palm of your hand, put a few pieces of pepperoni on each biscuit add 1-2 jalapeños, then place 2-3 slices of green and black olives on each biscuit. Close it up into a round ball. Roll in melted butter and place around the bundt pan. Sprinkle with Italian cheese and Italian seasoning. Do the same with the 2nd can of biscuits. Once you place these 10 biscuits on top of the first ones just pour the remaining butter over all of them and add your seasoning and the rest of the cheese. Bake per temp directions on the biscuit for about 30 minutes.
It’s important to slice the olives at least in 1/2 so you can close the biscuits up good. I honestly could eat this every day.
I hope you enjoy and if you try it please let me know.
@@Narrow-Pather God bless you and congratulations. God’s got a hand in all successful marriages. You have to keep that devil out. 🙏🏻
@@ladysmith3578 thank you so much, looks delicious!😘

Thanks so much! 😊 Your words have made us smile!
I love watching your yummy recipe videos and also love that you’re Christians and that Tom is wearing a tshirt with Texas flag on it! Love, from a Texas gal. God bless you, both.
This is so delicious. I have never been able to cook anything that could be eaten. Since I found Tom and Melissa I have used several recipes and they have been great. The instructions are easy to follow.I just needed the right teachers.😊
I can't tell you how much I enjoy your recipes and your approach to what I need and how to make a recipe.....thank you !!
Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe. Sometimes you don't have enough time to make the dough and let it rise. Especially in these busy days. And this is way easier and faster! Thank you, God Bless!
Those look and sound amazing!! I can't wait to try these with my grandkids!! Thank you sooo much!!❤❤
I love this! I usually make a pan of it at Christmas, adding a layer of red and green maraschino cherries, raisins, and chopped pecans in between each biscuit layer and serve it for breakfast as a sort of a pinch cake. Everyone just sort of pinches clumps of yummy off of the cake of monkey bread.
That's a great idea! We love those foods we make for special occasions. I shared this one at Bible study so I wouldn't be tempted to enjoy too much of it at home!
try replacing 1/2 the cherries with drained crushed pineapple in syrup (don't use juice packed)
yum yum
@@GohAhweh Thank you for sharing this idea. Sounds really good 👍
@@cathyprosser1050 you can also use glacee pineapple (fruitcake pineapple) if you can find it or pick it out of a fruitcake candied fruit mix..i've also put a very small bit of angel flake sweetened coconut..mmm
I cannot wait to try these "little nuggets of goodness"! TY guys❤
Thank you for sharing your recipe! It looks so much better than Mine, because you techier is key to a beautiful Monkey bread cake.
You are so welcome! We hope you enjoy it. Thank you for watching our channel. We really appreciate it.
Brings back great memories. My grandmother always made monkey bread for every family gathering. She also made a fantastic custard sauce for any cake that was deemed a bit stale. She hated waste. Who does that remind me of?
We have a lot in common with your grandmother! Have a wonderful day! And thanks so much for watching our channel.
U r right it's called a Bain-Marie. My mother in law loves this. She doesn't like chunks of pecans so I always very finely chop them for her. I try to make her one once a year. Guess I better get the things to make her one since year about to end. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks for sharing
I have made this, like you, probably 100+ times and it never gets old. People love it! I am so excited for your channel. When I first discovered your channel, you were at about 30,000 subscribers and now approaching 100,000. This is awesome!❤❤❤

My son doesn't eat sweets but he loved this.❤
It's not overly sweet but it's very delicious! Thanks so much for watching our channel .
@@comesitatmytable9044If I may, I would like to make a request. Show me how you would make creamy macaroni salad… like the kind you would get from a grocery store deli. I really enjoy your channel, and look forward to your videos. Thanks.
You guys are sooi cute!!!! I love the way your hubby explains everything, and you are so good at recording and zooming in, I love you guys, I'm going to try this monkey bread looks delicious!!!!!!! Keep putting out great videos 😊
Good morning Tom & Melissa, oo, this looks so good and I bet it tastes great. Never made this, remember different Countries, different grocery items. I am sure you will be thought of in many nice ways Tom, girls like sweet things. Just a little taste to finish off the morning. Many blessings. Kind regards.
I will make this with my grandchildren. Thank you.
Can’t wait to bake this. Recipe I had called for butterscotch pudding mix and I never have that or can find it. My boys will be thrilled when I make this in the next day or so. I will take advice of one reader who suggested diced apple pieces rather than nuts since I can’t eat them. Thanks again for your time & scrumptious recipe.
Every time you add pecans try also adding Kraft caramel bits….so very tasty.
I am 76 and have heard of this recipe but never had the recipe ! Thank you! !
You are so welcome! We hope you can try it soon. It's so easy to make!
Delicious Monkey bread ! Thanks for sharing
Great recipe and there are so many additions one could add. Thank you looks wonderful!
First time I had monkey bread was when I went to Dollywood for the first time it was right out of the oven and sooo good
It's been many years since we've been to Dollywood, but I didn't know you could get it there! We love to visit the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Monkey Bread is so good when it's fresh from the oven - warm and smelling wonderful.
Thank you for sharing this, I am going to make this and tell my hubby that he doesn't have to go by Papa Murphys any more 😊

I’ve never made monkey bread with biscuits! Genius!! My last women’s Bible study (til summer) is next week! I’m taking this to leaders’ meeting before the actual class. There will be more than enough for our small discussion group, as well!!! I’m sure Jesus loved cinnamon and sugar!! Thanks so much for the best “twist” to my old recipe!!! Blessings❤
Oh yum, this takes my mind way back to younger days❣️

I love monkey bread
I remember making this back in school in home ech class!! 😊
I've been making monkey bread just like this for many a year. Probably 30+ years 😊 It is easy and delicious. I use walnuts and pecans, and once I used peanuts 🥜. My family ate the entire thing in 1 sitting lol. 3 teenage boys = eating machines 😅. 🙂🦋
I can see how three teenage boys could take this out in a hurry! Thanks so much for confirming that it's delicious! We are happy to have you watching our channel.
I live in Australia and we don’t have those delightful ‘popping’ cans of breads you bake at home. I wish we did! So i made a batch of enriched dough and then followed your directions.
I travel to Sydney often and stay overnight at a wonderful small hotel on my way and i made a batch and froze it before i left, so that by early morning, it had defrosted and started to rise. The hotel has a huge shared kitchen so by the time staff arrived, i had this bread baking as a thankyou for all the care they always show my 88 year old Mama and myself. There was enough to also share with the guests (they offer a small buffet breakfast so it was grudgingly added to the table) the hotel smelled amazing all day, i was told. They loved it!
I realised when i watched this video that it isnt a yeasted bread you use, it’s a quick bread! I will definitely try it this way next time as i will do it again and also add some nuts which my family never did but i imagine it is a combination made in heaven. Thankyou
Gotta make This!
I look forward to your new videos! I makes my day when I get to watch a new post!! If i cut the recipe in half do you think i could bake it in a loaf pan? Love you both❤
Yum a very nice recipe..enjoying y’all’s videos.😊 😊
Thank you so much. We are very happy to have you joining us at the table!
I just love your videos I make al ot of your recipes. But to you & your wife..Go Bless Hell from State of Pennsylvania..
