Imagine the Yugioh protagonists got their LP dropped to 100. When they were about to get the comeback by "heart of the card" next turn, the opponent just activated Sparks and finished them up. Comedy gold ;)
Sadly considering how much they even ruined the yu-gi-oh anime it will never happen
"Its over!!!" "What do you mean?" Holds up sparks and flips it around showing them
sparks is banned in the anime for that very reason.
In most YGO games there's a big DP bonus of you finish the opponent with sparks, so...
It won't happen because even people in the real world make videos telling people it's a bad card, and anime characters obviously know how to build a deck better than real people.

Megaverse play: summon ABAKI and win.
Odd-Eyes Galaxy Photon Divine Brain: have a deck consisting mostly of burn spells and traps.

lore theory: Rai-Mei is the one that canonically uses the spell Raimei
And Rai-Jin is the user of Sparks
Kaido used it too R.I.P. Stretchy Anime Protagonist
It's the pokemon style of attack, by screaming it's name to cast a move
I actually enjoy that fun fact about raimei
Why did he show Abaki? Abaki FTK has won locals... in my house, against my dog.

Wait, what? Sparks is not the worst burn card? I never saw that one coming.
Sparks is laughable
It kinda makes sense. Sparks is essentially "do nothing whatsoever", and the top couple spots on this list are much worse than nothing.
Idk what you mean by this, sparks is easily top 10 cards in yugioh
I'm just going to assume that joke was in purpose
LAST SURPRISE
Step 1: Play a 60 or something card deck
Step 2: Use "Infinite Cards"
Step 3: Draw your whole deck while still making sure you have 40 cards in hand by the end
Step 4: Use "Full Salvo"
Step 5: Win
Maneki Money or just use magical explosion 😜
And you could make basically the exact same deck bar salvo and infinite cards but use magical explosion instead and actually win occasionally
ORA ORA/ MUDA MUDA feelings.
"Draw your whole deck" you say that like it's easy 🤣
Normal monster cards with heart of the underdog
I recall, back in the day, this girl won a duel with three Minar. She had all three in her hand, this guy she was dueling had 2800 points left. This guy played Card Destruction which caused her to win through the effect of Minar. Very niche.
Card destruction was relatively worthwhile at the time. Niche in itself but not many decks wanted stuff in GY. Nowadays it's begging to get blasted back.
Guy : I activate my trap card!
Girl : You fool, you are in MY trap!
Could be very funny in a Reverse Reuse deck.
Funny that Mushroom Man just saw competitive play, lol.
Fun fact: Kiryu/Kalin used Full Salvo in the anime to get his Infernity effects to activate, so thats neat
Except that Infernity decks already have 1 monster and 1 spell to do that, but I guess it works.
*New list about worst burn cards exist*

Back then when I played yugioh, I had a fire deck and I was so in love with it locking down 3 solar flare dragons and giving lava golem to my oponent
My all time FAVORITE Pyro combo right there
Mushroom man #2 is now ocg meta
Full salvo can be used in Infernity decks to empty out your hand with the bonus of smol damage
Could you use it in Infernity? Yes
Should you? No
This alone makes it arguably the best card on the list, not the worst. Sure these days its super awful but it was one of the better options when infernities first released, ifyou were absolutely hellbent to insure no hand.
@@MrEntinen my point exactly! And I'm pretty sure it could have some uses in the meta game (i mean if people can turn cards from the very beginning of yugioh that as trash then into shit people really need now) however i personally can't see it
if it was a quick play that could either discard or send it would be decent
I don't even play Yu-Gi-Oh but I still always watch your videos lol.

I'm guessing Lprd Rank10 sent you as well?
These cards would try to roast someone but stutter halfway through
Assault Overload would at least fit in its own deck if it destroyed the monster instead of tributing it. Then you could summon back the original Synchro, making it not a complete loss. It wouldn't be good, but it would fit in its deck.
I did see a pretty amazing Mushroom Man deck once. It ran Gozen Match to lock the opponent out of summoning and rendered Burning Abyss unplayable. It was pre-Link, though, so it's basically useless now.
Agreed, but they couldn't do that since a direct attack with RDA, Hyper Psychic Blaster, or Colossal Fighter then this card + another direct attack from the synchro would be enough to otk.
When it is so Bad..... it is a viable strategy to give it to your opponent, when it is not designed for that. Yeah, that says something.
It IS designed for that. Dont you read?
@@eavyeavy2864 Fire Sorcerer? Ehh, no it wasn't.
In practice, Jinzo - Lord sounds a lot worse than you explained. Jinzo also prevents all Trap cards from being activated, so it’s likely that no face-up trap cards are even on the field by the time you summon Lord.
Lord isn’t so bad now with the new Jinzo support
I use Full Salvo in a Magical Explosion FTK deck. It doesn't come in handy often, but it's a way to empty my hand in order to make Magical Explosion live.
Fire Sorcerer looks like something straight outta RWBY lol
6 minutes in and i cant imagine a card being worse than minar
How about top 10 worst equip spells
*At number 10, we have Broken Bamboo Sword. This Equip card give your monster 0 extra ATK and DEF. This card is only at the number 10 spot because there are other cards that require a Bamboo card to be face-up on the field. And these other cards have effects that can be pretty decent. But still... a card that makes you go -1 from hand to essentially give you nothing by itself? We can only imagine how much worse the rest of the cards on this list are.*

1 - Zoodiac
2 - Dragon Rulers
3 - Pendulum Magicians

Full Salvo might have actually been pretty good if it specifically discarded cards and did something like 800 damage for each card.
i works with shaddoll monsters so it has that going for it.
It's also an option for the Infernity monsters.
To be fair, Full Salvo was probably designed to be part of a combo with cards like Fire Darts and Magical Explosion.

full salvo would have been better as a quick play spell

Top 10 Omni-Negates
Top 10 best equip cards would be my suggestion. And great video as always buddy!
I used Thunder Crash (along with Dark Hole) in my Crystal Beast deck back in the day.
The only other situation I can think of where "Assault Overload" would be useful would be if your opponent was about to remove your "Assault Mode" monster from the field, and if you had no way to counter that.
I could picture Jigen Bakudan working on a Tarotrei Lvl 9 deck, between the impcantation support to put strong rituals on the field and The level 9 tutor spell that let Ex-Machina or Calamities be a thot to your opponent you can easily survive to kill them.
The best part about your example for thunder crash is that if u actually extralink using the knightmares, cerberus prevents their destruction making thunder crash even more useless
iv been hit by infinite cards with a full salvo consisting of 14 card drop >< and this was in a tournament
Thunder Crash was used by Chazz once in his duel with Slade to destroy his Ojamas then summon Chaos Necromancer to swing for game.
I remember that duel. It was when his brothers forced him to duel with monsters with 500 or less ATK. Ultimate Troll by Chazz
Jinzo-Lord has also a subtle detriment as well. By destroying your opponent's trap cards rather than leaving them sitting uselessly where they are, you are allowing the opponent to have more backrow space for spell cards. Sure, it seems a bit odd and certainly not every deck fill the backrow (some do, just not every deck), but if the opponent needs more space for spell cards, he's sorta forced to waste a backrow cleaner on a useless trap if your Jinzo is still on the field, whereas Lord could clean up the continuos or equipped trap cards (or rare trap cards that can remain on the field for certain time depending of certain effects or circumstances) but now the opponent can use those extra spaces for something more useful.
Jinzo - Lord has 1 saving grace. It still sucks, but there are way more than 9 worse burn cards because of it. That saving grace is Jinzo - Returner. Because the Jinzo revived this way lives for only 1 turn, it actually makes sense to use Lord. Of course, you're far better off using Jinzo for an Extra Deck summon, but still.
3 years later mushroom man 2 has seen legit competative play 8:08
The feeling when a few of the cards in this list were cards you had when you were a kid and used because you didn't know how to play the game.
I remember using Jigan Bakudan with the anime effect from the Pegasus duel, because I didn't understand what Standby phase was, which was actually even worse than the card's real effect. But I won a few times using it, because my little brother was worse at the game than I was.
I think iron chain blaster's effect is to setup for the synchro monster by adding to the number of monsters to remove from play for extra Atk.
Hi, I'm from Brazil and I just love your work, and I know a lot of people who know and like your channel, I don't know if you will read this comment, but if so, know that you have many fans here, and a lot of them use decks that you set up, you're the best Yu-Gi-Oh channel I know, and I hope it stays
Yeah instead of thunder crash chaos emperor dragon envoy of the end is a much much better card in every way possible. Plus, it still does the same 300 damage for every card except it destroys all cards on the field. Just pulled an ultimate rare chaos emperor dragon from dpkb so just thought I'd mention about one of the best burn damage cards in the game. So good they had to change its effects. Luckily the one I have isn't the changed version...even if I use it though I'd have to use the new effect even though it has it's old effect on the card :(
Top 10 Most Broken Discard Cards
I'm willing to bet this'll be a hard one
I used to play yugioh for fun back in the duelist era with a cousin and a few friends. We never went to any tourneys or card shops. But when joey used sparks in his deck against yugi everyone was using those small burn damage cards.
Assault Overload (AKA Pre-errata Ring of Destruction) reminds me of other random terrible burn cards which are part of an archetype NOT focusing on burn damage.
About Minar, there are a card name "Elephant Statue of Disaster" who have similar effect but burn 2000 damage , and no one use this card either out side gimmick deck especially in duel links
Could you do Top 10 cards that can be used to cheat out extra deck monsters?
Or maybe, top 10 good cards that can be bad in certain situations?
I would assume the idea of assault overload is something like:
Attack with syncro
Use assault mode activate
Attack with assault mode
Tribute assault mode for burn
For example stardust dragon going face would result 2500+3000+2000 dmg for almost an otk. Even better with red dragon archfiend. Its a bad card but they possibly had an idea for it. Also you could use like raigeki break for a more overall useful card than assault overload.
At least Sparks can net you some bonuses if you use it in some videogames. Yeah it is a joke achievement, but it is still funny.
Cards like Thunder Crash only really exist these days for Duel Puzzles and I do enjoy those.
I've seen Metaphys players use Lady Assailant of Flames in Duel Links, but it isn't for the burn effect and more to banish multiple monsters.
Coming back a year later just to say Sparks is kinda useful in Rush Duels since you can play it, deal some damage and increase your next draw. A lot more better cards in the format, but there are ones I consider worse so that says something.
Jokes on these cards, I have Trapeze Magician.
Hey, I remember you doing some old replay videos of some wild decks. Could you do some for an updraft burn, posideon wave/torrential reborn burn, or venom burn?
I said it before and I'll say it again: Thunder Crash is a terrible card to make you go minus whatever amount of monsters chosen to destroy just to deal a very meager amount of life point damage, especially since you start with 8000 in a modern duel. It would have been better to have that card destroy your OPPONENT'S monsters and make them take all the damage from the effect: I think the trap Mystical Refpanel could probably shift the spell effect to your opponent, since it would target the player the spell is directed to, but that's just a wild guess.
Thunder Crash might suck normally, but combining it with scapegoat carried me in the Abyss mode in the GX tag force games
Hey you made a video about best fusion monsters what about making video about best xyz or link or synchro
Thunder Crash was used in the Anime 3 Times and they still win, It was also used in a Duel Puzzle. LOL

You forgot to mention that minar is powercrept by elephant statue of disaster. People were siding that card when last turn was around.
Mushroom Man 2 makes this list obsolete.
Meanwhile I used almost all of these for the effect damage missions for duel links 🤣🤣🤣
Thunder crash has a nice use in duel links to activate a combo I usually use. It being using it on a moon dragon quila and a sun dragon inti to special summon the moon dragon during your opponents turn
i actually ran assault overload once. it was in a local tournament focused around synchro summoning, and i had it as a tech card for disruption. it counters /assault mode more than it benefits it.
also for minar there is dark deal which changes the effect of a normal spell card activated by your opponent to read "your opponent discards 1 card from their hand"
Love your vids
I’d love to see some people play out theoretical formats that use specific cards from different eras, something similar to what teamsamx1 is doing on duel night
Duel logs: and the 10 th position is the best card of this list
Me: *thanos face* impossible
4:01 what about a video with cards/stategies that can result in a draw/tie game?
Not gonna lie, you can use mushroom man's effect then use stormforth
I used Thunder Crash in my Crystal Beast deck. I would destroy my own Crystal Beast, do a little burn damage, put the destroyed Crystal Beast in the back row, then activate Crystal Abundance to clear the field and special summon more Crystal Beast.
That’s actually a good idea. Is it okay if I try that with my Crystal Beast deck?
Interesting trivia about Jigen Bakudan; in Duel Links it relies on the original attack of monsters for damage, not total. Not sure if that crops up in any other versions of the game or not.
i mean in regards to number 3 - i think the more gimmicky way to play this deck is by giving it to your opponent with reverse reuse, attack it with a weak monster and then blow up the opponents field with its effect.
Is there a top 10 list on the channel of - best cards to give to your opponent- already? It's been a long time since I've rewatched this video if ever
ah, i used jigen bakudan against stall and final countdown decks long time ago
i just flood the field, equip the biggest guy with some united we stand + mage power and bomb it, lol
I like how you start the worst burn cards list with the best one.
I'll never forget when Tea flip summoned Fire Sorcerer and it banished Pot of Greed from her hand, 500 IQ play right there.
I used to infuriate my friends with my burn deck based around just desserts secret barrel and princess of tsurugi plus a bunch of stall cards. Old school yugioh was so much more fun
I have a huge nostalgia for Mushroom Man n°2 because in the first 3 Tag Force games on PSP, there was this guy named KenYoU who had a terribly shitty burn deck centered around that card for some reason, needless to say he was the perfect target to farm the ingame currency XD I bullied him for years to get that juicy TeleDAD deck
To be honest Thunder Crash helped me quite a bit to get the Trophy for Expert Mode in Millennium Duels as the cards you can get were completely random (+ how many of them were locked behind DLC) so it was a good way for me to activate Yubel effect, but obviously if the game allowed me to use whatever cards I wanted such as Limit Reverse then I doubt I would ever put it in my deck 😆
And yet now, Mushroom Man #2 is one of the best cards for sideboards to deal with Kash
Expect it isn't played because of it's burn effect.
How bout a top 10 Cyberse or Link monster idea?
can you use assault overload on an opponents assault mode monster? that seems kind of cheeky
List ideas: Effects that activate at the start of the damage step(that don't just destroy the opponent's monster before damage calculation). Equip monsters that aren't Union(or monster effects that treat monsters like equip cards, like D/D/D Wave Oblivion King Caesar Ragnarok). Best & Worse HERO monsters.
I'm a bit surprised Abare Ushioni didn't make this list. After all, it's effect requires you to call a coin flip correctly in order to burn your opponent for 1,000 points of damage. And if you call the flip wrong you end up taking 1,000 points of burn damage. It's a gamble card that's just as likely to burn the person using the card as it is your opponent.
Another card that might deserve at least an honorable mention is Dice Jar, a flip effect monster with the following effect: Both players roll a six-sided die. The player with the lowest result takes damage equal to their opponent's roll x 500. However, if the winner rolled a 6, the loser takes 6000 damage. If the rolls are the same, both players roll again.
As a homage to this video, I came up with a semi-reliable (if the opponent didn't draw hand traps) way to FTK with Full Salvo. By using a 60 card Six Samurai deck, spamming counters with the Mizuho-Shinai loop, then using Gateway of the Six to search every single monster in the deck and GY, and then draw the rest of my deck with Saruya, Six Samurai United, Diagusto Emeral and Pot of Avarice, I was able to gather a hand of 40+cards.
Done this, I Full Salvo with help from Temple of the Kings and the FTK is complete.
6:45 the elephant statues are also just strictly better cards for the same purpose. At least the burning one.
with Jigen, you can flip it and use swords or if your opponent comes to attack, use waboku to keep it, but both are situational but still an idea
Suggestion for the next one. Best not banned draw cards
Wasn't there some experimental plays with Fire Sorcerer and Thunder Dragons or Gren Maju decks?
I did the math and in order to OTK your opponent with Full Salvo you need to sent/discard 40 cards from your hand to the graveyard in order to inflict 8000 points of damage. Think about that, not only do you need to draw your entire deck, but also play this card in order to get the effect off, so you would need at least 41 cards to pull this off.
That... honestly sounds like a fun challenge.
Jinzo lord has the iPhone 11 pro's triple camera📱
I'm also surprised Greed didn't get an honorable mention considering it requires you making your opponent draw cards in order to be effective. Which is especially bad when you consider it inflicts damage during the end phase.
If Full Salvo got a retrain, something like Trickstar Salvo, quick play spell card, discard your entire hand deal 500 points of damage to your opponent for each card discarded this way, then a GY quick effect that on the next standby phase both players draw cards equal to the number of Trickstar cards you discarded last turn banish this card, with a hard once per turn for each effect. Then this could be half decent, say you have lightstage and lycoris on board, and any 1 random trickstar card in hand, that's 800 damage, then next turn 500 damage, for a minimum 1300 damage, 5 trickstar cards in your hand ends up being 2800+1300, 4100
The best Yu-Gi-Oh channel ever😀😀😀😀😀
*A B A K I*
if you think about it full salvo is actually dramatically worse than sparks because with sparks you just need it and the primal seed loop to inflict infinite damage. with full salvo the most you could do is a primal seed draw loop and then 200x the amount of cards in your deck which can still be survived as it would take 40 cards to do 8000 damage
*minor spoiler*

Other thing about Jinzo Lord's effect, it says traps can't be activated, so you could only really use it's burn once while it was in play, making it's burn effect pointless to begin with.
