As a Texas kid, i didnt care about the teams, or even their history together at the time, but can still remember watching the games with that crowd of players and having some fun nights.

This game was hard to watch as I saw the lakers get real comfortable with the lead not expecting how hungry and personal the celtics wanted to beat them/win. It wasnt till the next time they faced each other that you saw the lakers werent playing around and the look on their faces and the way they made sure to win each game showed how serious they were to win. I believe it was game 3 were Derrick Fisher put the team on his back to win the game back that could of gone celtics way and no game 7.
As a diehard Laker fan this is one of the worst losses in playoff history. Kobe was right, the Lakers just weren’t ready to win at that time. You can see the difference in them here versus the next year, they were mentally tougher and stronger. KG abused Gasol in the series, Pau stepped up the next year and took his game to the next level. Also looking back on this when I heard Mike Breen say no team has ever come back from 3-1 I was like little do you know 😂😂 Overall great win by Boston it was just their year.

This game was hard to watch as I saw the lakers get real comfortable with the lead not expecting how hungry and personal the celtics wanted to beat them/win. It wasnt till the next time they faced each other that you saw the lakers werent playing around and the look on their faces and the way they made sure to win each game showed how serious they were to win. I believe it was game 3 were Derrick Fisher put the team on his back to win the game back that could of gone celtics way and no game 7.

15 years has passed when I was a teenager watching Boston Celtics versus Los Angeles Lakers on the NBA
As a diehard Laker fan this is one of the worst losses in playoff history. Kobe was right, the Lakers just weren’t ready to win at that time. You can see the difference in them here versus the next year, they were mentally tougher and stronger. KG abused Gasol in the series, Pau stepped up the next year and took his game to the next level. Also looking back on this when I heard Mike Breen say no team has ever come back from 3-1 I was like little do you know 😂😂 Overall great win by Boston it was just their year.
