    hope that tree in the shallow well next to the wall, and the trees down the wall where the dirt is piled up all survive. I went through the riser install on my 40 yr old septic tanks last summer. Spent about a month hand digging out the tops of the two tanks, down 16-18" and clearing off enough of the tops to put the risers in place. First had to find the openings. Now any future septic access will be a piece of cake.

    The way you all help out one another, and how you all have your strengths, and weaknesses, and always there for one another, is awesome and so rare in this day and age we are now living in, enjoy your and your dad's videos, and always watching when either of you drop a new one. I remember either you or your dad stated that he is getting a geothermal system around his home, as are you, and wondering as your filling all this up, did the geothermal system already go in?? or do you, afer doing ALL THIS WORK on filling and bringing it all up, now have to redig to install all that pipe for the geothermal heating and cooling systems?? and will you both be done with it all before winter and the ground starts to freeze?? Love the rock walls that you mom builds and the one around the tree, a woman of many talents. Awesome that your two sons want to also get involved as well.Will be intersting to see how you all develop your land, over the years, and make it to be what you all want your lands to become, where each of your homes sits, and seeing your sons as they continue to grow and learn more and get more involved in things. God bless you all.

    You got me. trolled pretty well. Wet clay can be a pain to work with. I currently am dealing with a lot of nothing but sand and it is dry as can be, everything has been churning it up and now you cannot drive hardly anything but a tracked machine on it. Looks great J . Let's hope your dad gets the 60-70yds you need from the pond . You'll probably need 10 or 15 more to fill your borrow hole . The fact that it's all clay and rocks there doesn't matter much since there's an abundance of slope huh . Without that slope , you'd have a problem draining around the field .

    How is this a raised bed when it’s below the outlet of the tank 😂 no manhole or t-pieces .. a lovely level site and leaves the tank above ground level and moved a mountain of dirt to cover it and leaves it every way in level .. crazy stuff a pump would have cost way less and lasted a long time. Way to close to the house for smells especially with no t-piece on inlet ..

    • @jmuller86
      @jmuller86  Před 11 měsíci

      Its a raised bed because I raised the area where the bed is. Doesnt matter where the tank sits, that has nothing to do with it being called a raised bed. And what do you mean no manholes, there are 2. We didnt want a pump, more to go wrong. And what do you mean no t piece on the inlet, what does that have to do with smell. The smell would only be from the bed which is like 100ft from the house. Did you actually watch the video?

    • @Adrian-tj6ye
      @Adrian-tj6ye Před 11 měsíci

      @@jmuller86 it’s not a raised bed it’s below the tank.. the ground around the tank is higher.. yes a t- piece on the inlet for smells .. raw sewage smells .. be no smell from the percolation area it’s completely covered.. a vent on the d box is to far from the tank.. tank isn’t vented .. gas rises. A pump was the solution would last for years could have been after the outlet in a separate chamber. Easily accessible after the filter. Raised over the original ground with now is below ground.
