The last supper was truly the Passover meal. A Seder plate at the center of the table contains Passover foods with particular significance to the exodus story, including unleavened bread, bitter herbs, a lamb shank bone and a mixture of fruit, nuts and wine

Jesus and His disciples could not have been eating the Passover Seder because that would have occurred twenty-four hours later when Jesus was in the tomb. The Passover Seder, that was codified by Rabbi Hillel around the second century BC, was the meal that was eaten on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. That was the “Passover” meal that the Jews were not wanting to defile themselves by entering the Praetorium so that they could eat in John 18:28.

I have been telling people that the Ten Commandments are not a multiple choice! But Christians in this country seem to think it is. Love thy neighbor!

A Levite was to perform the Seder. There wasn’t one there! So Jesus served as the “priest”. Lamb was to be there. It wasn’t! So Jesus also serves as the lamb of sacrifice. Beautiful!!!

      Here is the truth:
According to Jesus’ visions to Maria Valtorta, there was a round of Lamb served at the last supper. After our Lord Jesus consecrated the bread and wine he made 13 pieces of it and one set he took and gave it to his Mother MARY who was in the house next door. When he came back, the disciples were whispering to each other asking where he might have gone? Our blessed Lord then was distressed and had a fever and was shivering due to the realisation of his passion at hand. The wine in the grail had a faint colour of wine but looked red as if it was a pitcher of blood! He had very little of the wine but drank a lot of water that time. Then the iscariot started to mock Jesus about the betrayal. St John was close to Jesus’ chest and whispered saying who is the traitor and Jesus whispered to his ears saying, “the one who would dip his bread in his dish” and he commanded John not to tell anyone because they might start persecuting him and a conflict would break out as St Peter, St Matthew and St Simon the Zealot were fuming with anger because Judas was taunting Christ . After sometime, Jesus said to iscariot , “you like this , dont you” pointing towards the sauce/oil of the lamb and he said yes and the traitor dipped his bread in it. St. John called the iscariot satan and Jesus sighed in pain. Then Jesus said that not even his body nor blood nor death could save him because he made that choice to betray our Lord and GOD JESUS.
This is me paraphrasing about what happened. Maria Valtorta wrote the whole gospel starting with the birth of Mother Mary and post resurrection of our Lord. The church has kept the authenticity on hold but many bishops permitted it to be printed as it is.
It is titled , “The Poem of the Man-God”.
Once a lady asked St. Padre PIO if he would advise her to read it and Padre PIO said , “ I don’t advise you, I ORDER YOU to read it”. Thus proving its authenticity.

I do believe that lamb would have been at the Last Supper for two reasons. One, the law commanded (Ex 12:5) it and two, Peter attacks the servant of the High Priest with a ceremonial knife later in the evening.

The last supper was a Seder my dudes. So what the Jews eat today at Pesach … unleavened bread, bitter herbs, etc… A communal meal is the nature of Passover.
