@@nade7242Well the US didnt wait long at all to start picking sides and start funding the Allies. A massive misconception is the US just kinda was watching from the sidelines, until the tail end, when in all actuality, without the munitions, resources, and foodstuffs provided in the opening months to the Allies from the US stopped the war from being the war that would be over by Christmas that the Germans thought it was going to be. Places like Britain were embarrassingly underequipt (they only had like 800k rifles while germany had a little under 5 milion.), since the only reason like literally half of the mother fuckers were in there was because they had pacts that said they had to.
@@nade7242Also the German Spring Offensive (The thing that back fired on Germany and lead to their defeat) was a direct result of the United States entering. 3 reasons why Glock is way superior to a 1911. 1. Field tripping and clean one versus the other is completely Night and Day and if you’ve ever taken apart of 1911 compared to a Glock you know what I’m talking about 2. I own 4 glocks and they come in sooooo many shapes and sizes! (19mos, 48mos (my CC) , a glock 22 inn.40 and a Glock 20 in 10MM BIG BOY AMMO. The versatility of a Glock is superior. 3. It. Never. Jams. You could put 2000 rounds in a glock and not jam it. Then put it in mud. Put it in snow. And sand and guess what? It's still going off. You'd be spending 5 min taking apart your 1911
Neither has any real person in the world. Thousands and thousands of rounds out of three different capacities. Never had a malfunction loading or firing.
No it’s not, it’s a backup for in just in case if your rifle jams while you are shooting at an enemy. It’s easy to deploy from holster and a lifesaver.
Yeah, I've never had a problem with glock magazines. But then again, I don't buy third party magazines. I always go with OEM and it just doesn't pay to go with cheap mags unless you want problems.
One thing I'll say on the job reloading that Glock double stack magazine was a true pain in the ass during requalification at the firearm range. By the time you filled the magazine you barely had the strength left to pull the trigger when it was time to qualify😢
John Browning prototyped a stiker fired, 9mm, double-stack, handgun in 1922, if he can move on from the 1911, so can you. As much as I love my Kimber, I wouldn't ever seriously consider carrying a 1911 for self-defense.
I was about to say that. And I have a strong feeling I know what he done to that mag. If the springs arent perfect in place, plates eject out. Both those guns were at least partly from germany. I never touched a glock, but verify sigs are well made. I bet so are the glocks

To give credit to the 1911 for winning 2 world wars is a bit of a stretch. It's possible we would have had a tougher time without the B-17, but if both of the Germans killed with a 1911 had survived it wouldn't have changed things much.
I used to hate glocks with a passion being a 1911 guy until i got from a buddy brand new with glock iron sight night sights and been shooting and carrying it I have respect for glocks now it always works no matter what its very user friendly and won’t let you down is a gun you can’t beat to shit and not care that about it
If someone says they were pistol whipped by a Glock, that's a Jessie Smollet situation. A 1911 on the other hand, that's a badge of honor to have survived.
@@kamakazioverland4584 I own the 43x which is just perfect for my frame so I’d assume it depends on your body build unless you’re open carrying (which is stupid where I live). I know damn well I couldn’t conceal a 1911 on my person nor a full size Glock

What 1911 are you using that jams? Only issue I've had was that one of the Kimber magazines I bought had the metal follower getting stuck towards the top of it. Took it apart and sanded it down on both sides then I polished it. Problem solved. I've heard that hollow points can get hung up on the feed ramps in some of them, but a quick polishing eliminates that as well.
The 1911 is a dated piece of work. My dad was drafted after ww2, trained as a medic and stationed in Korea. Since Soul at the time was a tough town, off base they were required to travel in at least pairs and carry sidearms. I asked if it was a 1911. His answer was no, not many of them could hit anything with a 1911. The1911 kicked like a mule and they were issued a 38 revolver. The 1911's only real contribution was its clear ineffectiveness led to the development of the M1 carbine.
I like the look of a baretta M92FS, but i wish i could find one chambered in .45. Not that i hate on 9mm, its a reliable round and its all you need for self defense. I just like .45 because its fun to shoot at my home range.
I have a 92D. Double action only, no safety, recessed hammer and fixed combat sights. I can throw it down the stairs, hammer nails with it and still put 16 rounds in the black.
"It's okay babe, your 8 rounds are enough for me. 15 rounds are too much."
You cant get the whole 15 rounds in the magazine regardless.

FACTS!! CAN SOMEONE MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK MORE LIKE A CLOWN THEN THIS?! FAKE NEWS CHANNEL!!
But damn, they seem to me really cheap looking.
Not really. My older brother has a Glock, and he just bought a new magazine that was pitch perfect mint condition. only problem: the spring kept locking up. I’m sorry but if a gun is reliable for 2 word wars, and another can’t even load bullets I. The mag without locking up, it’s pretty obvious which is the better one
@thewarkid1433 I'm done with comparing this I'm just gonna buy anti-tank rpg and carry it with me around incase of something happening.
Not just 2 world wars but also was able to pass the navy seal torture test of 10,000 rounds, and if u drop it ur not getting shot in the leg.😂
Forgot to say glocks are also more prone to miss fire and jam up, only advantage is they do work better with hollow points.
Impossible challenge: 1911 owners trying not to mention how it won 2 world wars
fails to mention those wars comprised about 3yrs total fighting.
kinda weird how people credit the 1911 with helping win ww1 when the US waited so long to join the war that all our allies were annoyed and we didn't actually really help that much or do anything important
i mean we WOULDA helped a lot of woodrow wilson wasnt like the worst president ever and we had a cool guy like teddy but
@@SoloRenegadea lot more than three years more like 10 😂
@@nade7242Well the US didnt wait long at all to start picking sides and start funding the Allies.
It was an act of sheer desperation, as they knew the stalemate was broken in the Allies favor, and the goal was just one last Ooh Rah to try and do as much damage as possible to try and hopefully save them.

He broke the mag, not the glock itself.
Just saying
3 reasons why Glock is way superior to a 1911.
1. Field tripping and clean one versus the other is completely Night and Day and if you’ve ever taken apart of 1911 compared to a Glock you know what I’m talking about
You'd be spending 5 min taking apart your 1911
I've got the glock 40 10mm now that's the big boy

Neither has any real person in the world. Thousands and thousands of rounds out of three different capacities. Never had a malfunction loading or firing.
Glock is the sound the slide makes as it goes through your eyeball into your brain.
The M1911 had absolutely nothing to do with winning either WW, even the soldiers said it was a waste of space
Sidearms are a waste of space in combat today, you're taking things out of context.
No it’s not, it’s a backup for in just in case if your rifle jams while you are shooting at an enemy.
It’s easy to deploy from holster and a lifesaver.
I've never had a glock jam on me. Also, what the hell are you doing to your mags? Never had a mag explode either
Most modern guns are reliable
Then shoot your gun more
All firearms jam or malfunction the only real question is how often, glock is very rare.

He rigged it to break.

That was staged
Yeah, I've never had a problem with glock magazines. But then again, I don't buy third party magazines. I always go with OEM and it just doesn't pay to go with cheap mags unless you want problems.
That was a gag.

To give credit to the 1911 for winning 2 world wars is a bit of a stretch. It's possible we would have had a tougher time without the B-17, but if both of the Germans killed with a 1911 had survived it wouldn't have changed things much.

@@theonenationpopulist A Glock will never jam on you stop lying to yourself.
