I have multiple glocks. They do not sound like that. The trigger is decent if you actually know how to shoot. The glock is more reliable, lighter, safer, more modular, has a higher mag capacity.....I could go on. I love the 1911, its my favorite handgun. But the glock is a far better option for edc and self defense. The 1911 is a cool, historic, but outdated firearm. In other words ....this jackass knows way less about firearms than he thinks he knows

Hydrostatic shock is no joke But penetration kills just as effectively. I remember reading an old magazine my grandpa had from like the early 70s. Some moose poacher in the Yukon was arrested. It said they'd been trying to catch him for close to a decade and when they finally caught him they asked how he got away with it so easily. He used a single shot .22LR shooting 22 shorts. He said he would track them enough to figure out where they were going to be one day then bait them in so he was like 50 yards from them, then he'd just shoot them in the heart with that little 22 short, they'd run about a dozen feet then sit there and bleed out never knowing what happened.
