    Hi guys, as always expertly, sympathetically and comprehensibly explained. A small note: since English is not our native language, it is here and there a little difficult to follow the language and the technical content, so we have to repeat parts of the video - which is of course complaining on a high level ;-). It could be helpful if further acoustic influences, such as music in the background, could be omitted. Otherwise, again an excellent contribution from you!!! Best regards from Germany, Carmen&Lutz

    I haven't forgotten that there was talk of a Fuji body with a 40 meg sensor planned for the end of the year.....now if that gives me 20+ meg jpegs..... thanks for this. You know your stuff.

    thnx for the review, and helping me answer some questions I had when I heared about the new feature on the GFX100... because now I do realise... it doesn't do what I hoped it would do... 1: work with flashes (I always use flashes when shoorting art reproductions...) and 2: there is no 'true color' 4shot option to gain true color on 'just' the 100Mpixel image... So I guess... that would have been the feature that would have shifted me from replacing my PhaseOneP40+ with a GFX50R (because of size/iso compared to my 'Beast') to the GFX100... because I don't really need 100/400Mpixel, but would go for it if I just had a 4shot 100Mpixel True Color option that would work with flashes... so I'll save some money, keep the PhaseOne for studio use, and probably get the GFX50R for everything else (kicking out the X-T1 and go all mediumformat again...)

    Hi Guy, thanks for the vid. You mentioned for using strobes, 14bit using ES at 1/5s or "slower". I guess slower is better to allow readout time, but any idea how much slower? For 16 bit you mentioned "even slower", do you have any recommendations of sync values? Have you seen Fuji recommend any sync numbers? I see Sony A7riv uses 1/8s for their PShift. Thanks in advance.

    So on a % basis, roughly, I said roughly, how much better is an image from the shift over an image shot normally? Roughly, is it 50%, 70%, 20%, 5%?? Roughly, of course....

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  Před 3 lety

      Hi Sal,
      it's 300mp bigger than shooting normally. so you can zoom in much closer or print it bigger.

    Hi, I swapped from Nikon to Fuji after seeing the results from the X-Trans sensor with no moire effects when digitising art. I have a studio rig that allows me to shoot 1.5m x 2.0m artworks at true 300ppi in (many) A3 sized 'stitching' sections using an X-H1 and a carefully calibrated sensor. Will we get a 'Pixel Shift' firmware upgrade for the X-H1 or X-T4?

    What is the point of long delays between pixel shifted images? Why would I want to wait 15s between static images i want to combine?

      You might want to use strobes which take some time to recharge.

      Hi Anthony, you might want to use flashes then you could give them time to recycle.
