No man hath greater love than when he lays down his life for his friends...Jesus
AMEN
John 15:13 one of my favorites!
@Lt Dan , that’s to bad because God believes in them. Fortunately a lot of others do believe in our Lord Jesus. Love them all either way. Including you Lt Dan! God bless
@Lt Dan I'm sorry to hear that...truly
@Lt Dan Spent "a lot" of time in special ops there speed racer. You know what "a lot" of special ops do actually. I spent my share of time in the Marine's and Army and you would be surprised at what they believe in. They may not believe in a form of God that some people do but "a lot" do believe in something. You have to when your facing death every day. Not try ting be an ass but when someone makes a beautiful post and someone sets on it I get get a little bothered.
Well done brother. LLTB
Long live the brotherhood!
Love your channel sir!
I got to know Mikey at Penn State...just an upstanding guy BUT also let loose when it fit. He had his priorities with school and NROTC right but also wasn't a shut in .. loved football (We talked about our HS football and our hockey days some as we were both passionate as hell) and Penn State football games too (awesome memorial to him specifically with his fallen members of the military since Iraq-War on Terror)..was SMART AS HELL, and I'm not exaggerating...he could read a room in a second and fit in in any environment but did have some funny ass quirks as you guys put it. Overall you guys explained Mikey as just as I remember, so it's great to hear from enlisted SEALs that he turned out to be a great and respectable Officer, not that I expected to hear less.
He reminded me SO MUCH as my brother who served in the Army...my brother was a one of those who'd tape up old shoes, drive whatever, kind as hell, laid back but also driven. Once I heard Mikey died, it felt like my brother died...I look up to both of them so much. He was like a copy of my brother, just SMARTER haha.
These brave SEALs here don't take bullshit kindly, wild bunch but EFFECTIVE, and they aren't just giving Mikey "lip-service" to make him look good. From learning, talking with military family members, and also from my "addiction " to military vids/podcasts on CZcams, not many officers can pull off that fine line to both fit in with their enlisted but also be a great leader at the same time. That is RESPECT.
God bless you all for your sacrifices and those who have fallen. Mikey's legacy will live on. And God bless Mikey's parents as they did a great job raising them, and from meeting them once before as well as vids on CZcams, they raised a WARRIOR, a DEFENDER against HS bullies to enemies overseaas. Truly rest now Mikey, and God bless the United States of America 🇺🇸!
Well if it isn't Mr. Vigilance Elite himself, disappointed there was no milk duds or gummy bears in this episode, I would really like to see you, Rutt, Wizard, O'neill, the Man, the Myth, the Legend...Marcus, and Morgan do an episode, any chance of you guys collaborating anytime soon?
@Chuck U Farley Wow.
This world lost 3 hero's that day, but heaven got 3 Angels!!!!
Heaven is now well guarded by them and along with the many from previews theaters!
@Lt Dan I can sense where you are at!
Lost a lot more than 3 heroes that day. Dont you ever forget that, again. No offense.
@@johngallagher9151 we lost 21 that day, isn't that correct?
@@lovingmymamalighter102 I dont know the exact number, I just know it was a lot more than just 3 guys
The lightning storm in the background during this conversation was perfect.
I came to the comment section to see if anyone else was in awe at that. It added a special kind of atmosphere
For sure!
I was thinking the same
Same here
@WhySoSerious? 🥲
We owe men like these everything. Our society needs to stop trying to diminish what these warriors mean to each of us
I’d also add that our society needs to take stock of the thousands upon thousands of wounded who are forever scarred by war. That 75 year old man with a limp walking into the grocery store might be a Vietnam vet walking on two prosthetics. We remember the fallen as we should, but we sometimes forget those who gave pieces of themselves and bear those scars every day.
@@gmlogan4889 Well said!
@@gmlogan4889 amen to that. This. We generation has lost all respect for men and women in uniform. We need to turn this ship around and find the way
All one needs to do to see the price of freedom is to visit the local V.A. and then take a little road trip to Arlington National Cemetery, any one of the 14 U.S. cemeteries in foreign countries, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. At each of these places you will see only part of the price of freedom. The price that you can’t see is the mental and emotional scars that our veterans walk around with all the time. And the grief and mourning of the family members of all of those in those locations, or still deployed. If you think our military members are tough, and yes they are, you should meet their families. Every time they hear something on the news they worry about their loved ones. It is especially bad when they’re operating outside the wire for some time and there is no way to contact them. May God bless and protect all those who have served, are serving, or ever will serve.

I never served in the military, however I feel it is an obligation as an American to honor those who did served and currently serve at all levels.
I started doing the Murph workout on 12/12/20, and have done it once every week since. Every time I hit the wall on the last few sets I think about the brave men and women who fought for us. It always pushes me through to the end!
God bless from the PNW.
Complete badass
Gettin ripped playa. Keep it up

Then you are a brother to me and I would love to meet another brother because I have nothing

*thunder sounds* “Mikey talking to us” gave me chills
The part where the thunder rolls, and Morgan says “Mikey is talking to us” that sent chills down my body!!!

A true American hero. Look forward to shaking his hand one day as soon as I cross through the pearly gates up top. MM is a man who should be remembered in history classes throughout the US of A for many years to come. God bless him, his family, his fellow Seals (both fallen & still w/ us), and his family. 🇺🇸
Let us Never Forget the countless sacrifices made by our military are countless and are embedded in our hearts and minds. The number of times I have fallen down is the number of times I have gotten up.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Rip Mike…. You left too soon.
Never FORGOTTEN, MICHAEL MURPHY!!
HERO!!🙏🏻💙🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🔱❤️
Murph, gave his life to make that call! He knew what he was doing, god bless to all, thank you Marcus
“Well, you are Mike Murphy.” Etched in my memory forever.
“ well now that is true “ 🇺🇸
Damn I feel bad for the souls who dislikes this video......God bless you all
Great man you are sir. I was upset about this
Always remember that memory is subjective. Not everyone who served with M. Murphy remembers him the same. Much ink has been spilled recalling the events of the day Operation Red Wing But Marcus Luttrell has the ONLY eyewitness account. The ONLY one. His account is the only one we have. Combat is fuzzy CZcams. To those who know, you know.
Marcus sounds like he's speaking a different language sometimes...kinda like drunk Texan military slang...lol...God Bless them all.
lol he's turning into boomhauer from king of the hill
@@delta-9969 You just made me spit coffee laughing! LMAO! That’s funny stuff right there.
Marcus sounds nothing like he did when doing the interview with CNN’s very own Jake Tapper…. He made Jake squirm with his voice and response.
Well he is kinda taped glued and screwed together 🤔😁😂
The dehydration during everything that went down coupled with blood loss has literally made his brain shut a lot of himself down. Look at how sharp and well spoken his brother for a comparison, he wasn't born like that. You can literally see the toll he has taken on himself being the lone survivor.
“The only easy day is yesterday”

The George Washington believed in the SEPARATION of church and state. Might wanna know your history a little bit before ultimate disrespect of one of the greatest generals ever.
I'm happy to hear how he lived and not only knowing how he died.
Just got done crying rewatching his story. The story. I needed to watch this. It made me laugh, cry, and smile all at the same time. I'm a corpsman. Man, I don't feel worthy to wear the same uniform. I love you all. Thank you for everything.
Thank you, Michael Murphy. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice for your brothers and for your country. You died a hero, and your actions will be remembered by Americans forever. RIP ✝️
The debt can never be repaid what so many hero’s gave so that we might remain free.
Lead by example, one of the best things a leader can do whether your an NCO or a Commissioned Officer is to lead by example.

(Edit: As I know Penn Staters are like a family similar to Military members except we aren't as bad ass...I mean we both support each other, sports, schools, etc...I always compare it to it like a "brotherhood/sisterhood" that Marines have except a lot of those marines shed blood where we mostly shed sweat and tears but no blood unless a drunken night. I open my post to Penn Staters and ANYONE else military or non-military to share their own thoughts on Mikey, whether you knew him or not and how he has IMPACTED the largest alumni base university in the world, Penn State.)
I have said this before and I'll say it again here: I am so glad that Marcus survived that day. Not just because he is a good man, or because he should have lived, but because if he didn't... if he'd gone down with the others, we wouldn't know what happened. I think that the story of Mike Murphy, would have still been told but if not for Marcus Luttrell, we would never know who Danny and Axe were. I remember seeing a clip about the movie. One of the SEALs on the production staff said to Emile Hirsch, "You need to do this right because from now on, every time someone googles 'Danny Dietz,' your name is going to pop up so you can't let him down." Thank God Marcus survived because thanks to him, a hundred years from now, people will still talk about the legend of Mike Murphy, and what those men did.
I agree. But at the same when Marcus said he had no ammo left. Then the man who saved him says Marcus had all 11 mags of ammo still when found. So I respect Marcus still because he's a real seal and served for our country. But Murph Danny and all the items that died that day. Do deserve respect and deserve the real story told. If its true that Marcus had all hos 11 mags and ammo?? Then he needs to just tell the true.
I need this song!
Ikr me too
ive also been lookin for it, i'll let ya know if I find it
Thank you, Murph, and the countless others who have made the ultimate sacrifice. God Bless your families for enduring on earth. May we all rejoice in heaven.
People should appreciate the Warriors who do what they could never do for America.
I can listen to Marcus and Morgan talk forever. I feel like they are good friends and brothers. Love you all.
Here's The Murph Challenge.

And on occasion, one arm pull ups 😳

For me, to take part in Murph is to honor all those who have suffered that we can live such a good life. To forget them is a shame.
To those that do this workout on Memorial Day, remember, you suffer a little to honor those that gave everything in service to our country.
(SALUTE)
The way you HONOR Mike Murphy is a huge credit to YOU GUYS. My cousin is an SEAL CHIEF, and Carrie’s that same VALUE SET.
Thank You all for the valued service you still give to this day.
Indeed gentlemen, well done, thanks for posting, serving and remembering.
I was no navy seal I was army infantry for 8 years and spent 2 tours in anbar province in Iraq around ramadi and Baghdad. Got two plates and seven screws in my left femur from an ied, no real cool story to tell just riding in a vehicle and it happened. Operation red wings happened on my birthday so I think about it every year, big salute to these men and their families. Rip to all involved.

What a beautiful tribute to Lt. Murphy. I could really feel the love in that conversation as they reflected on the life of their brother. Well done, ya'll.

RIP Murph and thank you.
Thunder and lightning during this conversation is awesome. As a old army veteran these young men are awesome. Rest easy Murp.
Thank you all for your service and God bless you. I was greatly motivated by Marcus' book to do the Murph. I was able to do my first Murph this past Monday. I did have to portion it out to 2 pull-ups, 4 push-ups, and 6 squats. I did that 50 times. I did the mile on my elliptical. I was able to wear the weighted vest for the run, push-ups, and squats., but I needed to use a giant rubber band to help me with my pull-ups. I served 14 years in the Army as an MP in the 80's and 90's. I am 55 years old now and have been serving as a missionary in Costa Rica for the past 15 years. I had started training for this 7 months ago. Hopefully next year I will be able to do the full weighted vest Murph workout without assistance. Again thank you for your service and God bless you all.
Thank you ...to each and everyone of you...Murphy...sounds like he was the true warrior
Thank you for your commitment to our country and fellow warriors.
Thank you for doing this
