You nailed it. I've always been one of those that don't have any urge to just go shopping for the sake of it. Once you own your own house (I mean paid for), everything becomes easier and you don't even feel the stress of everyday life. It's others that come to me for financial help.

Yes, absolutely agree. Folks need to know how to "make do and mend". Just look at the decor items people buy for their houses? Most of it is a waste of money. Get used to seeing your money in the bank and not splashed around on stuff you didn't know you needed, until "marketing experts" told you had to have it. And lastly, cook your own food at home!!!!!
It is kind of satisfying not having to think about what your meals will consist of for the day. Fried or grilled fish and fried rice or jollof rice
