- Key differences between the EDC33 (3,000 lumens) and the new EDC35 (5,000 lumens) - the EDC35 has a slightly wider bore size and length to accomodate a type 21700 cell over the previous 18650. This provides longer runtime due to a larger capacity and higher output of max 5,000 lumens on the LuminShield setting.

More lumens the better but the edc33 would be my fit since it’s smaller in size. Great lights
Both flashlights are amazing, but I'm team 33. For EDC purposes, having a bigger battery and 1k extra lumens doesn't really makes up to the size difference. Nitecore totally nailed it with the EDC33, it's right on the sweet spot!
Thanks for sharing!
EDC33 lasted me about 2 months. Dropped it on gravel accidentally, stopped working properly. waste of money
Did you manage to get it swapped with your distributor?
Warranty it, nitecore is one of the brands with long warranties, at least here.
Hi! What do you think, which is the best allround nitecore flashlight? I like the flood light and spot light too. But the self defense is important for me, so I prefer high lumens and strobe. I'll looking for your reply, Adam 🙂
Which one do yo recommend? The edc35 or p20ix or p23i? For self defense.
Both of these are unable to swap old batteries out right?
Yes, the batteries for these are built in to the light itself.
@@NitecoreSG ok thanks
