CAN VIDEOGRAPHERS RACE? | FIAT 500 ABARTH vs. SUZUKI SWIFT SPORT

To really put this theory to the test, our Drift Games videographers Josh Holdsworth and Blaine Sweeney were set a unique challenge. Order the parts needed, fit them to their own personal cars, then go head-to-head on a timed lap of the Mondello Park international loop. Josh's trusty Fiat 500 Abarth would have the straight-line speed advantage, but Blaine's Suzuki Swift Sport has the better stopping power. Which would come out on top? It's time to find out!

I love my swift sport, but these cars are from two different worlds but similar, the swift sport is old school hot hatch where you really have to ring its neck out to get it to use it’s power where as the abarth has all its power basically on tap with its turbo

Do you have to warm up your swift for around 10km to have performance?
With my swift it is a big difference when i drive the first km after cold start or when it is warmed up. It gives a lot more power so i was wondering if this is normal.

Man this video cracked me up lol getting addicted to your videos I love it lol. Id love to take my wagon on the track. The Passat may be common as muck but mine is a rare care because shes a 1.4tsi DSG7 petrol automatic estate B6 originally 122bhp but after some tweaks its producing just about 180bhp on dyno sheet. shes surprisingly nippy for a little engine pulling a big car and dirt cheap to run and the dsg gearbox is amazing. mine could do with a service as its due lol xD Ill be selling the car in a few days as I want something newer with less miles etc. Im also going to Irish motor festival and have the car changed by then maybe.

New brake pads have less stopping power as they have to be broken into the old wear patterns of the disc rotor.
Brake fluid should be removed first to top up then bled to purge the old fluid in the system. Hope they rinsed that spill off as it's corrosive.
1.4 plus 7psi of boost will smoke a 1.6 vvt swift. Volumetric efficiency on the 1.4 is about 1.8 with the turbo 22:10 😂😂😂 I stand corrected
