Well, I bought a 2019 Abarth 595 11 months ago, and I'm very happy wth it. It's not as well made as the Mini Cooper and Mini Cooper S convertible I owned previously, but it's even more fun.
I felt a bit sorry for Back Seat JJ there, being bounced around. He should have been togged up like an ice hockey goalkeeper for safety!
Haha yeah! He could definitely have done with that. He said it was... an 'interesting' experience back there. I think he was being polite.

This a brilliant small and sporty car. If you’re between 18 and 21 and you want to buy something that has good insurnace and that is fast and sporty, then this is the car, also the sound is probably the best thing about it. Might get myself one of these bad boys at the end of the year.

Is a glovebox not standard?
The reason I looked at this video is because I saw an Abarth driving around the village in Cornwall. “Yes don’t take the piss” but seems like the perfect car for the local conditions. Compare? Renault Clio Williams 3. Honda civic R type. Peugeot 205 GTI? Just some comparisons?? From back in the day yes I am getting old.
It's a pleasingly old school car. I'm sure all those cars ride smoother than the Abarth 😂

The standard 1.4 is quick enough with 100bhp my one will hit 125mph if pushed hard lol and 0-60 around 10 seconds thats quick enough for me and leaves most white van men in the dust lol the newer Abarth has 168bhp so now it will do 0-60mph in 6 secs and 145mph top speed thats the one to get
Does the 2012-2015 abarth 595 turismo have the Garrett 1446 turbo?
That is beyond my knowledge haha. Perhaps someone else will know
No it doesn't they only started using it on the competizione model from late 2015

Mine sits around 3100rpm at 70 in fifth gear

I didn't, I actually didn't know about this - for some reason it didn't come up in my reasearch. Sounds pretty interesting

@@JJonCars I'd let you borrow my car for a video but it's a Hyundai Coupe which you've already covered lol. I plan to get a 1.4 Alfa Romeo Giulietta (170bhp version) in about a year. Have you ever driven one?
