  • In May 2019, 15-year-old Leah Heyes collapsed in a car park after taking the drug MDMA. That night, she lost her life. The 17-year-old boy who dealt her the illegal Class A drug, Connor Kirkwood, was arrested and jailed for 21 months. The consequences that night had on both teenagers' families is hard to comprehend. Bboth Leah and Connor's mothers - Kerry Roberts and Tammy Kirkwood - are, side by side, campaigning to raise drug awareness in young people. It’s their hope that they can prevent any parent from having to live through such tragedy.

Death by mdma is very very rare. We need to realise that people will do these drugs and provide testing and education. Thst will stop people dying not pretending like drugs are evil. I’m sure more teens have died from alcohol

My bf is autistic very sporty and he was groomed into drugs. Thankfully we got him out but was hundreds of pounds of debt tbey kept saying he owed and these were people he saw as his 'mates' until he wanted out of it. His mum multiple times gave him £500 to buy him out, then he started to ask me scares to tell his mum but she was saying sure i paid the debt for u !! So i paid it twice. And then we spoke to his mum and we both paid them off once.
