- For the 2022 autocross season I am trying out the new Nankang CR-1 tires. I will be using 315/30R18 on a 18x10.5 wheel.

I love the A052 on mine, but I agree the cost is out of control. I do AX but I HPDE more, I am seriously looking at the new Continental 200 TW tires. Good luck with them.
For track days I would probably use the new continental's too. Cost of all tires look like they are going up. Gotta pay to play
Nankang should give you strong results
I need to checkout what u done to run 315's up front. I'm still on 17" rims - have 2 sets. Better tire price point / less good up size selection...
I'm liking the Nankang. They are on par with the other top 200TW tires. I ran 17s (still have a set) for many years. Bumping up to 18s opened up tire selection.
@@RinerAutomotive agreed but not tremendously and price up... I got 3 other cars that I gotta feed tires 19's to as well. This 99 Mustang has Great potential and would love to keep tire price "reasonable"
