Who else was waiting for this Halloween recommendations video from our Horror Queen. Now waiting for the movie version of this video. Thank you for the recs, Mandy!
I have a feeling October will be awesome this year. I'm feeling the enthusiasm everywhere.
Nat Cassidy became one of my favorites with Mary. I looooved it!
I work at a library and I recommended your channel recently. Thanks for posting these so I have recommendations to give patrons !
Ah that’s so cool - thank you!
❤ Just found you today and have been binge watching all day. I love your content!
Aw so happy you found my channel! Thank you for watching ☺️
Yes! So many great books being released! I loved reading That Night in the Woods, my review is actually going live on Sunday, it was so good!
I could write it in the comments of each video but I'll write it here. I love your channel!!!!! It's wonderful. Greetings from Italy.
Thank you!!
I'm behind on videos and I just watched this. I want so many of these books! I love imaginary friend horror, Halloween anthologies and novels, cursed objects, and more of the things you mentioned. Thanks for informing me of books I didn't know about, and I enjoyed hearing more about the ones I did.
Been waiting for this video
These all sound super fun and perfect for the season! Great video!
Wow, I didn't realise my favourite horror author, Kristopher Triana, had another book coming out so soon. Can't wait to get my hands on _That Night in the Woods_
I'm a kindle reader thank you for helping me find some spooky books!💜
Thank you for the recs, I have gone ahead and ordered Your Lonely Nights Are Over for my Spooky Smart B*tch Readathon reading prompt!
Gets out TBR notebook 📝😄
Hahah I’m sorry…or you’re welcome 😂
@@mandysmorgueofhorror some of these were already on my list! and some new ones yay 😊
Girl, I've already pre-ordered Nestlings. I enjoyed Mary a lot, so I can't wait for this one!
Nestlings was incredible! I also really loved That Night in the Woods
Hey thanks for the video.... Plz suggest to me all time top horror book to read but in easy language...❤
Bad movie night sounds pretty good also I love short story collections thanx ❤
Nice video! Im reading a biography from one of the guys from Ghost hunters my life with ghosts I think its pretty cool nice recs 💙 👻
Hi Mandy! Dig the channel and thanks for the recommendations. New to your channel but really enjoying it. Unless I missed it in another video, you didn't mention Becoming the Boogeyman by Richard Chizmar. It's a sequel to his book, Chasing the Boogeyman. It comes out October 10th. I'm excited for it as the first one was a tense page-turner, IMO. Cheers!
Thanks for the recs.
On my radar, Seven Shades of Evil by Robert McCammon, The Night House by Jo Nesbo, My Pet Werewolf by James Kaine, ...
I've pre-ordered October Screams, Nestlings, and The Haunting on the Hill already. So many spooky books coming out, I can't keep up!
Mary is excellent. You should really read it.
More TBR material, but they all sound so good.
Love your channel. What is your opinion on the splatterpunk genre?
I am just recently dipping my toes in the genre. It really depends & I’m still figuring out my tastes there.
There's No Way I'd Die First sounds cool. I'm a huge Night of the Demons fan so I need to look into. This is such a great list overall
grady hendrix has a cool sounding novella about getting your ankle snatched, and catriona ward's new one 'looking glass sound' is what i'm starting today. how to survive your murder by danielle valentine seems like it'd be up your alley, too.
schrader's chord and bad movie night sound excellent.
Ohh this is the first I’m hearing about the ankle novella lol…I am intrigued
have you read any Frieda McFadden? i been wondering if i should read her books, wonder if you would recommend
No, but my mom loves her books!
Hi, congratulations for your reviews. I have always followed your advice. I was really struck by the beauty of "Motion Detection", a thriller book that I found by chance on Amz while looking for a book by Freida McFadden. The cover intrigued me, it's an unusual book with a spectacular ending, I highly recommend it
The Echo project
Love your eyeshadow look! Do you remember what you used?
Thank you! I actually used the Chucky palette from Glamlite!
Great list, so many of these are going on my TBR! I just finished Holly by Stephen King and loved it. Not totally horror, but like all of the other Holly/Mr. Mercedes books it had a lot of horror elements and was a great send off for the character.
I still need to read Mr. Mercedes before I dive into Holly!
@@mandysmorgueofhorror I enjoyed all of the Bill Hodges/Holly Gibney books. There are 5 or 6 now, I think. The Mr. Mercedes trilogy, The Outsider, If it Bleeds and now Holly. She has to be one of my favorite King characters, so I hold fast hope that he's got at least one more story of hers in him.
I love when you do these videos cause I always hear about something I hadn't heard of! I also am loving the influx of more found footage horror! Please keep those recs coming!
I just read books on their appeal of synopsis. Diversity naturally happens from it.
Tjis performative virtuous book selections is nauseating.
Unsub.
Huh?
