I still can’t figure out what the hell “they did”. They did what? Sitting here, looking at the screenshot of the specs.. It’s a Z fold five with a GEN 3 processor. And nobody wants to explain how you have the exact same dimensions for screen size, and yet the front screen is gonna be wider. If you take a Google fold and turn it on its side, you have almost the same dimensions as a Zfold and vice versa. So, if the front screen is wider, does that mean the Z fold is going to look like a Google fold? Yeah, the misleading clicks should be a reason to get a content creator banned. I watch a lot about the car industry and it’s all over there as well.

I cannot understand why Samsung refuse to put the best cameras possible on this device. The Fold 5 is just about the worst camera setup on a foldable, keeping it unchanged would make the 6 an absolute waste of time to purchase. Might as well get the Oppo N3 Fold or OnePlus Open given they both spank the Fold5 camera
They have to sell phones. If they put the best in this phone, people have no reason to buy the S24/25 ultra. Simple as that.

To be fair I've got the fold 5 and it's the best phone I've ever used! I love the narrow front (could be a touch bigger) but I prefer it to the huge ultras where you can barely 1 hand them for most tasks. Cannot fault the 5 at all other than no pen slot.
7000 mah is a bit unrealistic.
Don't worry. The Galaxy Fold 45 will FINALLY have all these.

Why would the new form factor be a refreshing change? Having a Z[ed] Fold4, I love the portrait orientation, sure the front cover screen is pretty narrow fornthe height, but I barely use it. 98% of the time, I use the main screen. If it was much wider, it'd be way too hard to type on to be honest. I'm not overly concerned about the cameras, but what I am concerned about is having the S Pen stored inside the phone, I miss using the S Pen, but since it's not stored in the phone like it was on my Note 9 previously, I ALWAYS leave it at home, and generally forget to use it even when I am at home. It's too inconvenient to carry it with me because it adds a ton of excess bulk. I'd also like Samsung to keep their Android update cadence to monthly, after about a year, this slowed from monthly, to every 2 or 3 months. Better cases would be nice too, with rotating stands allowing you to stand the phone up in portrait or landscape, most cases give you one or the other.
It will take our lifetime for Samsung to get to the correct form factor (if at all). Fold users have been crying out since Fold 1 but it falls on deaf ears each year.
This is the last chance Samsung has as there are now real alternatives for consumers to the Z Fold series.
They need to make it little bit taller and a bit wider. That will help with the cover screen and and inner display screen ratios. Currently if the z fold 5 was a bit taller the screen ratio would be perfect
Nothing wrong with the form factor, it's great as it is. Why do you want it wider? If it gets much wider, then it will be too difficult to type on. I can't comfortably type on it when using landscape mode, Imuse my Fold4 almost exclusively in portrait, except when watching video.
@technerd9655 that's a good point. I also wanted a wider outer screen, but I didn't think about that.
All they need to fix is a larger outside screen and actually supporting the device beyond 1yr. I've paid an extra 1000usd just to repair faults after warranty.
How? Wasn't it released last August so not even a year yet?? 🤔 never an issue with mine, been on a building site for 9 months no problem
@joshytraylor sorry, I'm still running the Fold4. Wi-Fi would cut out, warranty repair, but I had to pay as it required a screen replacement as a part of it. Right after the warranty was up, the phone would shut off when closed every time. Lastly, the screen started to crack in the crease. It starts as a fine line, like a crack, then moves up the full length of the device. These are all issues you can find online with each release. Samsung does not support this device well enough, in my opinion. 1yr warranty is a joke. I'm moving to Oppo next release. They're already steps ahead of Samsung in build quality.

A little disaapointed in the screen dimmensions. Think for the time being ill still stick with my fold 4 until they make more significant improvements on the fold 7. I primary use this as workhorse, essentially a laptop with the amount of stuff i run on it and when doing things like trading i want to be able to place stop losses, draw trend lines, set fib and p/l retracements and the like with ease. Or budgeting/doing finace work with the 3 screen display + multiple floating windows. As much as i wanna say it needs a better cpu and better graphics... i have yet to run into an issue with it not already having enough, eh maybe some more ram would be nice i do hit my cap with that.
They need to bring back the micro SD card slot
I already got Android version one UI 6.1 on my Galaxy Z fold 4, the Galaxy Z fold 5 didn't have enough improvements, and I'm not going to pay a fee for AI features,
I will unlock my bootloader and install a custom recovery an a custom ROM and then I'll be waiting for the -fold 7 to see if Samsung does anything worth buying.
I was really hoping for a bigger cover screen. I guess I'll start looking for another foldable phone.

I don't understand the obsession with the camera, the cameras on my Fold4 are beyond sufficient for the average person, IMHO. Am I missing something? If you want better, why not just get a DSLR?
It's just geeks and nerds looking for bragging rights and youtube content creators who have lost touch with what most people need or want. Also, there are some who are complaining about it that can't afford the phone in the first place and are just jealous haters. Then you have apple fanboys posing as fold owners trying to make themselves feel better for being suckered into buying old technology All they have left is "the cameras, the cameras!"
Most users of Folds are business people who couldn't care less about the camera. If a camera is your main concern, why the hell are you looking at a fold? Get a DSLR. But it better be more than an entry-level DSLR since fold cameras exceed them.
Oh, let's not forget the Techno-Karens, " I spent this money and I want the best everything......waaaaaaaa!"
The cameras on these phones are way better than cameras on phones that were considered legendary just a few years back. The photos they produce far exceed most people's ability to distinguish good pictures from great pictures anyhow. Great photographers will tell you it's not the camera, it's the photographer.

Completly agree... the main attraction for the fold is the inner foldable screen, not the cameras... if you want camera specs go with the S24
I love the Fold but unfortunately the camera takes priority so I'll stick with the S24 Ultra. I'd gladly pay more for a true flagship foldable with S24U cameras and spen.
Well looks I wont be upgrading from my fold 3 after all. Until Samsung gives us flagship cameras they wont see my money again. If I’m gonna spend $1800+ again I expect flagship features and not minor upgrades.

OK. I just watched your Z fold 5 launch video. There is literally nothing different about this phone from the 5. How can the front screen be larger if the phone is still literally 6.2 or 7.6? Did they make it shorter and fatter? Google foldIsh? We need a real analysis here. No SPen integration.. plus, whatever happened to that development model that we saw last year that was a larger screen with an integrated SPen?

Its already wide tho... wider than the fold 5... personally i like the portrait form factor of the fold 5... i already got used to it... i feel like any wider would make the phone bulker
@@marcoperez8037 for people with bigger hands, its a bit too narrow for messaging.. you get use to it but i make a lot typos. Thats only reason id like it bit more wide. Cameras like S series would be appreciated too 😎

I have you a thumbs down because you indicated you wold update the dimensions of the rolls in a prior video. The video of the phone is the same and shows the wider version from your old video. Nothing but click bait. I used your measurements to draw it and it's barely noticeable from the Fold 5.
Lets talk about the battery, i assume that everyone can agree, that a bigger screen draws more power, lets not include the multitasking apps... Batteries are not developed to last, which is such a waste of money on "latest tech", every each season another best phone than the last predecessors, what a joke of money grabbing, faster phones that lasts shorter 😂😂.

I wish we can buy and use the chinese foldable phones. They are much better than what we have here in the USA. Sumsung fold 6 should include the same cameras as the s24 ultra. Disappointing that it might not be.

I am using fold 5, tell the truth it's full of errors and problems like over heating, keyboard backspace become M entry become M , the biggest issue is the Google map is nor working when you select "start " button. I very video to prove it to you all.

Dropped it? I've had mine since pre order and never had a problem like this. The only thing I had was 1 day the finger scanner player up, other than that perfect 👌 that's on a building site every day and dropped it on a hard floor once (in a case of course)
