@@DefinitelyNotAGuru I didn't raise just how expensive they are. I think they start at £110k. Less than £40k for a 3 year lease seems a bargain! Shame it's about double my budget!

I’ve got a sneaky feeling it might even be coming this year. It could certainly result in some good deals on the outgoing model, although it doesn’t always work that way.
If somebody needs some cheap transport for dropping the kids off at school/Tesco shop then there is a Suzuki swift auto (CVT) Motion spec that is currently super cheap.

@Jim - As insurance is going a bit loco - (quoted £10K p/a for the GV70) might be worth doing something on leasing with insurance bundled in? Some fleet insurance i've come across has come in only £100 p/m. for the same vehicle. Big difference!
Not really possible as there are way to many variables. What’s £1k to you might be £1500 or £15000 to me; postcode is a huge factor.
Just get a quote before you sign up to a lease 👍

Excuse my slightly dumb question but why does a monthly lease car drop or increase by such massive amounts throughout a year? I assume the actual sale price of the car remains pretty stable so it is just the finance companies that dictate the fluctuations? Thanks for any info.

I'm trying to find a non EV auto for my parents. They're set on a ford focus due to the dial (mum is disabled and have issues with her hands), but I'm convincing them to chase the deal. How is it best to find an auto deal?
Really just filter by auto cars, then select petrol, diesel, hybrid etc and see what comes up. I can help if you book a call but I’m sure you’ll do a stellar job on your own.

As a life long petrolhead & retired test & development driver, the one question I always have with the whole car buying thing is this...
Why lease a car? Why the fascination with PCP's? Why do people have the flash new motor on the driveway, when they're never going to own it? I personally think Instagram has a lot to do with it, everything is all about how their lifestyle looks from the outside.
Do dinosaurs like me who buy a car outright & keep it for many years not exist anymore?

Plenty on my channel if you want to learn about leasing but I’m guessing you probably don’t. Basically though, you might get a nicer car at a lower price than buying something new or nearly new and keeping it for a few years, as many do.
