- Ari is someone who had enough with his glasses, so he made a decision one day to get rid of them, once and for all. But unlike any other person, he didn't put contact lenses or do a laser surgery, he did it on his own, by practicing his eyes. How? Listen to Ari.
Ari is a college graduate. While studying, he decided to research alternative medicine, in the field of eyesight.
He found a method, developed by Dr. Bates, to improve eyesight. Ari put himself a goal to spread the method, that helped him to get rid of his glasses, around the world.

For anyone who dont understand, here is the basic thing he said.
1) U need to exercise your eyes about 1 hour a day.
2) Use bates method to improve your eyesight, (I'll explain below)
3) Dont expect to get rid of your glasses to soon. make it consistent. even small improvement counts.
Now for the exercise:
1) extend your arm and make the 'best sign'. look at your thumb and bring it closer to your face and extend it agains. focus on the thumb and realize how it works on focusing the thumb movement. it will train your eyes focus.
2) rub you hands together, than put your warmed palm to your eyes. it helps to relax your eye muscle. do it 5 to 10 minutes. repeatedly
3) Make this weird exercise ( he said it himself), put a paper on your face to block your eye. than hold another 2 paper, and wave it around. this will practice your peripheral vision. so as to exercise your body as a whole. (watch at 12:25)
he do it for few years, and now able to drive without glasses. proven by his own ophtamologist .

This video is really exciting! I've watched similar videos on youtube before, but no one was showing their physician-prescribed before, so I could not fully trust them.
But this video gave me confidence that, I will try it, but basically what they mentioned in the video is very short, I wish he made a 1-day eye routine video, I looked at his youtube channel but I did not see a video about it.
All his eye movements, and how many repetitions? How did he use technological tools while doing these exercises? And his eyes is -2.50 miyopia, he suddenly stopped wearing glasses? How did he deal with the fuzzy world?
I've also stopped wearing glasses. It takes some time to get used to. My main advice is don't strain your eyes to see. If you can't see, accept the blur and stay calm, it'll go away over time. If you strain your eyes to see 24/7 you are just hurting them. I recommend watching videos by Nathan Oxenfield on the Bates Method thats who I follow.

Current Date: 2024, 25 May
Day 1✔️-: I did eye exercises, ate pumpkin and carrot ,splashes water on my eyes, did that paper thing for 5 min, thumb focus for 20min, Sarvangasana & put saliva and palming.
Day 2✔️: had eys exercise, put saliva, water splashed., ate spinach, put on cucumber, thumb focus for 20, palming-5 & anulom bilom.
Day 3 ✔️: eye exercise, anulom bilom, thumb focus-20, palming-5,splashed water,saliva& cucumber on eye
Day 4✔️: did pretty much same thing except salivaa and cucumber thing
Day 5 ✔️: i did eye exercise and thumb focus only today. I had to travel so.
Day 6✔️: Did eye exercise, and thumb focus and palming but for very little and splashing is regular ate spinach too
Day 7: Did eye exercise, palming,thumb focus, ate spinach and splashed water
My brother did it too.
Day8✔️: did eye exercise, ate greeny v:egetables, splashed water, saliva,&thumb focus

THE BATES METHOD. There are tons of videos on youtube on this, and you can buy the book on Amazon.
These ecercises for the eyes work, and you should feel relief immediately. I did.
Your eye sight might not improve immediately, but you'll feel them relax that's for sure. I did !!!
If you think of it we are so used to looking down at something in up close. What I did on my own is look up and far and turn my eyes to the left and to the right and I notice something right away. I got the book and still reading. It's only costs around $23.
I have elevated eye pressure, andi want to lower it without dangerous medication or surgery. That's my plan.

Turn on subtitles then go to Settings and select auto-translate Hebrew > English. It's not perfect, but it's good enough to get the gist of it. Basically: 1) switch between looking at your thumb and the distance to exercise your eyes. 2) Rub your hands together and place over your eyes to relax the muscles in your eyes. 3) To improve peripheral/night vision, stick a piece of paper in front of your eyes and then wave around 2 bits of paper at your side. Persist. It takes time. And look up Dr. Bates/Bates method.

Quick question - how many times a day did you do those exercises? And for how long each time?
Is it only three of them (palming, focusing on your thumb and forward, piece of paper for peripheral vision) or there were more exercises?

I would do them sometimes for a total of an hour, sometimes more and sometimes less.
There are plenty of other exercises though that work on different things that are concerned with vision.

Guys, it literally takes the least amount of effort or intelligence to turn the subtitles to English. All the comments kindly explain how to do that, so read them first before complaining.

Wonderful for him. But where are the sub-titles Bates - is a start. But what was his vision before. What was his prescription. Did he recover from, hyperopia, or myopia? Nice to know what he said.
Otis Brown I had -2.5 with 0.5 astigmatism in one eye and 0.25 astigmatism in the other.
As for the subtitles if you look in the comments above you'll find how to change them to English. Hope that helps!

So that’s not the entire truth. Thee absolute key to vision improvement is by taking off your glasses and contacts. Hold your phone close to your face and then pull it away until it gets blurry. STOP. That’s your blue line. Now here you relax and I mean RELAX. Looking at your phone breathe deep breaths while thinking, “I’m relaxing, facial muscles are relaxed, my ciliary muscles are relaxed, my eyes are relaxed, I am AcTIVE Focus, Focus, RELAX” the BOOM you will see clearly. You must RELAX the eye muscles at the blur line and think about focusing and relaxing. Do this as much as you can throughout the day. Only wear your glasses when you MUST. Sun gazing and palming too.

It's such good help if you do.
It took about 2 years total from -2.5 with Astigmatism in both eyes to pass my eye exam at the DMV. Daytime vision improved much faster and within 3 months I was driving during the day without glasses and was reading street signs and license plate numbers.

I haven’t tried it myself, but I know another YT channel which talks about getting rid of glasses and his principles are the same: the periphery exercise, print pushing and closing your eyes for relaxation. That guy used the same methods and got rid of his glasses, soooo I guess it might work.
Same here, guess it's like any investment: there's always a risk that it won't pay out ;-) Personally I give everything a try, as long as it is practical concerning my schedule.
