Many backing tracks don't include lead lines and the rhythmic use of thirds is something lead/electric players could mimic when using the track. I was actually looking for a track to practice triads and extensions for improvisation and I ended up practicing along with the same dyads, which is a great practice in itself. I realized almost immediately its just the root and the third of each chord (m3 note/degree for minor chord and M3 for major chord). Simple but nice way to fill in space and utilize rhythm with electric guitar.

Dumb question. I have just now learned a min pentatonic first position. So, does it matter which notes I use as the chords change? Or can I just vibe with whatever ins the A minor pentatonic scale?
