Court Of Appeal Refuses To Reverse Sack Of Martin Amaewhule And 24 Other

- The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has refused to reverse the removal of Martin Amaewhule and 24 others as members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
In a ruling, the Appellate Court says giving a verdict reversing the decision of a Federal High Court which declared their seats vacant will amount to pre-judging the Appeal currently before it.
Delivering its ruling which was done virtually, a 3 member panel led by Justice Jimi Bada held setting aside the order delivered by the Rivers State High Court which expelled Mr Amaewhule and 24 others will be tantamount to determining the issues on appeal at the interlocutory state.

Fubara isn't a bad person, per se.
Wike was the overbearing godfather that wanted Fubara to craw under his control as long as Fubara remains a governor. He pushed and choked Fubara to the wall, and when Fubara couldn't breathe or move forward and had nowhere to go, then he braced up to defend himself. PDP is just a lame duck. They failed to defend Fubara because of fear of Wike.

The spirit of give and take would have been for Fubata to sell the soul of Rivers people completely to Wike and his few supporters. Fubara owes allegiance to Rivers people and not to Wike as godfather. Wike was governor for 8 years, and he alone did not put himself there. He was helped by rivers people and PDP political leaders. The fact that Wike helped Fubata to be governor does not mean he should be more loyal to Wike than rivers people. In rivers state politics, governor girs, and another governor comes in.
Ex Governors Peter Odili and Amaechi did not sit on Wikes neck in.his 8 years as governor. So Wike should know his term has gone. Wikes fight with Fubara is fighting with rivers people. If Wike wins this fight in court against Fubara because of the corrupt nature of Nigeria judiciary, he can not win the political battle against rivers people.

Rotimi Amaechi defected to APC and he didn't lose his Governor seat.
Many Governors and other politicians defected before 2015 elections and didn't lose their seats.
Atiku is a serial betrayer anywhere he goes, happy Wike humbled him.
Nobody took Amaechi and any governor that defected to court. That means the court can not decide a case that is not brought before it.
Again, the Wike you are idolizing is not a match to Atiku in any way. His antics did not affect Atiku's election but Peter Obi did. Moreover, everyone knows that that election was rigged by INEC.

Nobody knew that this crisis will go to this extend.. Those bad elders that attack the presidents intervention were the cause of this problem. If Fubara had thought and meant well for the people, he could have taken a right decision that will boost peace and unity of the state. It may be painful but for the interest of his people, he could have done the needful and continue life with his people. He and his predecessor should have tried to reconcile with each other and keep the state moving up
