I think SpongeBob knows Gary is an alien and is harboring him and just treats him like a snail. He doesn't even treat Gary like a pet more like a roommate. He is not surprised by Gary having bills, enables normal human like behaviors instead of pet snail behaviors, and only acts as a keeper rather than an owner. He acts as just someone to keep the food going but i doubt Gary needs SpongeBob to do that. SpongeBob does that anyways to keep appearances.
I don't agree with this since I'm multiple episodes Gary can be seen as dependant on SpongeBob, like when he leaves and is starving on the streets until he goes of with the creepy old lady. Plus when Patrick was looking after him he couldn't eat because Patrick didn't feed him. The only real time we see Gary as super intelligent is in the whole dream episode (sleepy time) where he is seen as super intelligent. But for all we know that could have all been made up in spongebobs head, which would make more sense then Gary being an alien. Plus when he is reading the paper, some animals like dogs can understand some words and even talk using buttons, which are organised by colours or words, meaning they at least understand a few words, so would it be a huge stretch to assume that Gary would be able to read considering that this is an underwater fish society which is arguably more advance then us in quite a few situation, like when mermaid and barnacle boy make a time machine. I spent more time and effort on this then I ever have on school work ._.
@@SinisterSpiderPunk His intelligence shows up at other times but it’s in more subtle ways like demonstrating the ability to operate motor vehicles far better than SpongeBob could ever hope to without a blindfold

the bit with Gary being a king makes sense since he would need experience as a politician. in the episode, Grooming Gary he even staged a pet riot at the pageant due to his speech on his outrage at the treatment seen at said pageant. a speech akin to political figures such as MLK or the America First movement during the Vietnam war.
it makes alot of sense it explains why spongebob isnt homeless with terrible pay ,but in the first part u said gary and the doctor might be working together and thats why they have the snail injector heres a different theory what if gary isnt supposed to look like that and they inject that to him to make him a snail and they left spongebob to do it personally because they know what gary is

Omg look at the Gary consolation there's a dolphins like bubbles facing him in a war sequence.
Also in the episode "Treats" we see Gary doing all kinds of bizarre things like create a statue, do archery, or go bowling in order to get his treats. No normal snail would even be able to do these things.

There was gonna be a plot where Gary got kidnapped by alien space cats and he had a backstory where there is an snail planet that he lived on and was prince until the space cats destroyed his home and he was sent in a pod off the planet like Superman and ended up in bikini bottom. Look it up it’s fascinating and there’s more to it

As I said in a comment to one of your other videos you have caused me to look at spongebob and a whole new Total perspective and I know I'm not crazy but as I'm looking at this video and thinking back on all the others I've looked at these are every familiar to the fact of things that are going on in the real world that I believe the government and the powers that be are manipulating so that they are true agenda is revealed and a lot of these theories you've come up with seems to go along with some of the things that are happening in this world now!
