    I use Ghirardelli and some coconut oil. I also use the Wilton melting pots, which I love. They now have a divider pot you can put in it and do two colors at once in one pot.

      I have both inserts. Makes it so much simpler. For small batches I just melt them in silicone beakers. Too keep them warm I put an inch or two of hot water in my crockpot on the warm setting.

      If you loved this video, you may also want to know that there are a number of steps to making chocolate! First, cocoa beans are picked from the tree. At this stage, the beans are white and gooey. The beans are fermented for 2 weeks and left to dry. Once dry, the beans have turned brown! The dried beans are roasted to create more flavor, and finally, made into chocolate products!

    👒. Your kitchen is so beautiful ! Thank you for the wonderful demonstration. You are so sweet for explaining everything so clearly. Do you have a cake and candy supply store by you ? They have amazing candy bags available. You can use Walmart’s Almond Bark Chocolate Flavored Coating.It is a lot cheaper than Wilton. But Wilton is easier to work with. When you said that only regular Oreos work , I think that is fine. Because the wafers add a lot of the same type of sweetness. Blessings from California. 💐 🐣🍪

      Hello, this may happen if you’re overheating your chocolate. May I know how you melt your chocolate to get more of an understanding of what seams to be the problem. I like to melt my chocolate at 30 second intervals, make sure your cup is not too warm or hot. If it is, place at room temperature for 5 min and try again. Chocolate is very delicate

      @PrettyPastelPastries  Před 2 lety

      Hi Kelsi! ✨ Happy to help! Make sure your chocolate is still a runny consistency, then place inside of your piping bag. You want to cut a small/medium tip. If you are getting wobbly lines it's most likely because the hole you've cut was a little too small. Try cutting it a little more next time ♡ Also, try to practice going at a medium pace when drizzling. Hope this helps!

      What is your method of melting your chocolate, and what brand do you use?

      Pretty Pastel Pastries omg same 😓 I’ve tried it like 5 times. It won’t melt I use the Wilton brand.

      Try using the Bain Marie method, place a pot on the stove/ medium low heat with water about halfway, don’t let the top glass bowl touch the water. Place melting wafers and continue watching until they melt. You don’t wanna run someplace else while doing this. Wilton is pretty thick, add some veg. oil if thick 1 tsp at a time. Hope this helps!

    Beautiful cookies and great instructions. The music is so much louder than the poor quality audio, maybe skip the music.
