Yes! Don't use regular liquid food/easter egg dye from the store. It's made with WATER & even a single drop of water will make the chocolate seize up and it will be unusable. Use gel food coloring.
Yes
Yep, I learned that lesson the hard way last year. Wish I had a Jessica to let me know I couldn’t do that. I also had a hard time finding gel food coloring 😢. But after a little searching I had success 😀.
Wow! These look beautiful. Im going to make them for a baby shower this Sunday.🌸🌸🌸👏🏻
Great thanks for watching send me pics when you get the done.
Just went and ordered my molds ♡
Great let me know how they come out.
Very pretty
Thank you
beautiful. it does take so much chocolate for 6 oreos just like the rice krispy treats in soap molds. Those take a ton of chocolate
I know this is an older video; however, it is a fantastic tutorial - thank you! I like to avoid the mistakes others before me have made and learned from! :) I do have a question please. For the chocolate used to drizzle for decoration, did you also thin out with a bit of oil? Also, does the oil alter the taste? I saw some others commented coconut oil as an alternative.
GOOD GOD BLESS MONDAY AFTERNOON
THANK YOU FOR SHEARER
U BE BLESS AND STAY SAFE NOW U GO AND ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY
Thank you have a blessed day
Great tutorial! Is there a certain type of baking chips you used? For some reason, EVERY TIME I try to make mine, they are incredibly hard to bite into.
I use Walmart brand great value baking Chips
How did you cut the oreoa
I like these Oreo desserts but I'm a diabetic so what do you suggest that I do so that I can have at least a little bit of something that I enjoy every now and then?
Hello
To be honest this wouldn’t be for diabetics. I don’t have a healthy version you can CZcams recipes for individuals that have diabetes
Thank you. Did you dip the Oreos in the pink chocolate
Hello I added color to the white baking chips to make them pink
Can any type of oil be used? Not a fan of the flavor of olive oil
I’m sure vegetable or canola would work.
Can these be made ahead of time and placed in freezer?
Yes they can
This chocolate being colored needs a little bit of thinner in it for it to be at its best.
Thank you
Trying this for my daughters birthday party, can I leave the Oreos in the fridge over night?
Hello yes you can
They be hard as a hell
Rr😮
What’s the olive oil for?
Just to thin out the chocolate it’s optional
Can you use any other kind of oil aside from olive oil?
I would use coconut oil or Crisco and let the Crisco melt into the melted chocolate.
Yes any kind should be ok
Where did you buy your mold from
Hello I ordered it off Amazon
Let me know how it works
These are beautiful but it's just too much chocolate for me 😢
I agree there good but sweet
Thanks for watching
Wrong food coloring that’s for icing it can make chocolate crumble or get to thick to dip ect use chocolate color or candy color
Thanks
Mine always melt. But i put them in the freezer 😅. I will put them now in the fridge
Yes the freezer will help them harden let me know how they come out and send a pic
