To sum it up, I believe Suge is saying that he became a threat to the old guard of the industry by refusing to conform to the old business model that they had been using since the beginning. See a lot of the labels that popped up like Bad Boy were not actual companies, but were basically subsidiaries of major labels. In contrast to Death Row which was set up as a real company under their own parent company called Godfather Entertainment. Suge had all the building blocks to become a true corporation that could compete with the majors. Personally, I think his misstep was becoming a public face, showing up at all the award shows and turning himself into the face of Death Row Records. I understand why he did it because he felt like he needed to do that self promotion to attract talent, but once he signed Pac and other big artists, the smartest thing to do would have been to remove himself from public view. Think of it like this, you can't take down Pepsi by taking down the CEO of Pepsi, but when the image of a company is directly tied to the image of a single person ... well, then all they had to do was take down that one person.

There is literally video of Suge running over a dude who was with the production company who made that movie about easy and everyone. Suge ran dude over…b-lining right for him after seeing dude walking across the parking lot of a fast food joint during a break while filming. Then Suge, after running over this dude, literally backed over his body in reverse, then drove over him AGAIN in drive, just to make sure he was dead. If you believe any truth to him not killing anyone, or selling drugs, you’re a fool. Why would you sell drugs if you have a successful company?
