I’m also finding it very hard to keep up with your stitches and switching, and I’ve been crocheting for years. Is there a pattern to follow? Or at least another video where you slow down and can show us your stitches? That would help so very much! Because of the color of the yarn, it’s very hard to see the details in the stitches as well.

@@badrunnisa100 it seems as if some instructions skip a step or lost in the translation. I had to do a few stitches several times, by rewinding, pausing and enlarging video, so I can see the stitches. I think I finally got it. Only time will tell. It is quite a lovely dress

Yeah they can be pretty shocking and not timed right but damn this dress is worth the pause and rewind to see what the stitches are being and going into

I am confused. You are not doing extended double crochets as I have learned them. I thought you chain one for the bottom of the double crochet and worked it as normal. Please Help!!!

Hi I love this dress but I am having a hard time starting row 2 because there are only 13 chains. On your video I counted the 3 that start the row, your double crotchets and skipped spaces and it's 14 but your diagram says 13 on the ends. It just doesn't work out. Please help thank you

This is size 1, for your girl of 4 you can start with the same number of stitches in the neck but just add more rows in the yoke and it will be perfect! Thanks for watching! :))

i was just looking at it as wel.. by the look of it it is double crochet, if it was extended , it would have to start with 3 chains at the beginning if i am most mistaking and by youtube tutorial

Your not doing extended double crochets!! Not until after the sleeve is put together do you do an actual extended double crochet. Took my whole work apart thinking i did it wrong😭😭😭

Thank you for watching, glad you like it! I suggest that you make a sample first with 20 stitches and from there measure all around you granddaughter´s neck and see how many 20´s you will need then the stitch will follows by its own. Hope this can help! Regards!

Stop complaing, of course pronounciation are different, thats because she is not English. Im pretty sure you know what she means when she says "crochee".
@@deloreswolliston6849 no, it's actually incorrect terminology. They are double crochet NOT extended double, that it important to know. I wasted hours trying to figure that one out. The skirt is beautiful but again I think the terms are off from how I learned. Just use settings to slow down the playback a lot and that helps. I appreciate the time that went into all of this. The dress is beautiful but mistakes in directions can be insanely frustrating. I wish people would update videos and list corrections in the video descriptions so that you didn't have to reads scores of comments to figure it out. Some content makers do but not often.

It’s too fast and hard to understand the words and I cannot figure out what is happening with the making of the skirt part because of it. Ugh,, very frustrated and so I will have to figure out something else. Maybe it’s just my brain is too slow and dumb to get what she is doing here, but either way, I just have to do something else. I’m very disappointed. Was making this for my granddaughter.
You can slow the video down to understand what she is doing by watching her. That is what I have to do. The three dots at top oh screen
