Rainbow Dress Directions
This lovely Rainbow Dress is easy to make.
The pattern uses only basic crochet stitches - single and double crochets and chains.
This dress is crochet from the top down.
The direction shown are for girl size, 135 cm, but can be easily converted into bigger size or smaller size - just by making the first part - according to the circumference of your burst.
Work in rounds from the top to bottom.
Yarn: Duhova vila, 150 g, 540m, 100% acrylic, 2 skeins
For this pattern you will need 3.5 mm crochet hook and 4.00 mm crochet hook.
Difficulty Level: Level 1 - Easy, for beginners
US crochet term:
SlSt - slip stitch
CH/s - chain/s
SC - simple crochet
DC - double crochet
SK - skip
T - turn
ST/s - stitch(es)
REP - repeat
Special stitches used: picot
Pattern Notes
1) Before you start take a neckline circumference and a burst circumference measurement.
I started with 90 chains for neckline.
2) This pattern is for girl size but you can changed to bigger size by making more or less chains of the foundation chain.
3) A Ch 3 at beg of the row counts as dc throughout.
4) Finish each round with sl st to 3rd chain from beginning. - Jak na to + styl

Row 6 should begin with a dc into the ch space to make a group of three dc.
And as others have said I don't have 60 groups of three dc's either, I have 44 at the end of row 6.

Thank you very much for sharing this indo, I am trying to make the dress bigger because my thread is thinner and if I start with 90 chains it does not enter through the girl's head, I made 12 chains, but as I advance, I am in the round 11, and I don't have a flat circle like yours has many waves, I'll be doing something wrong, hope you understand me, I speak Spanish. Thank you for your message. I am not sure if I am able to help without seeing your work. Anyway if you have too thinner and too light yarn I would recommend you to use 2 strands together, it could help to follow my pattern.
I had mistake one time. Every increase in row, i increased st at the same spot where previous row has 2 dc. As a result my work turned out with waves.
Maybe get help.

I'm from Canada. I'm using a light yarn #3 by Mandala (Lion Brand) sold in Walmart.
Need to check out the written pattern. Your video for round 5 states, "60 groups of 3dc...", yet after doing the steps twice, I only have 45 groups of 3 dc with 1 ch in between.
