    Immerse yourself in the world of Chinese legend and embark on an extraordinary journey of transforming from mortal to immortal. Build your character, explore countless realms, battle monsters and immortals, and witness the battle of Nezha and Ao Bing.
    Divinity? Demon? Your saga beckons!
    A few things are consistent with Chinese heroes of legend: they always have unusual births and childhoods, are gifted with immense martial and magical prowess, and have great pride which often leads them into conflict with the gods. The hero Nezha, who would go on to become one of the gods' premiere warriors, was no different. Hear the story of Nezha's mysterious upbringing, his battles with dragons and gods alike, and his war with his father, leading to his eventual godhood!

    Nezha's father: "I thought you were dead"
    Nezha: "My death was greatly exaggerated"

    This one was different, but this is a change of acceptance and honor. Thank you for bringing the tale of Nezha and for introducing Overmortal.

    From what I’ve read, Ao Guang and the other dragons used to be evil and caused disasters in the mortal realm during Nezha’s origins

      @@bluebelt1235 Well I know Nezha's father from Netflix movie, he does love his son. Unlike his variant.

    Having you ever done a video about mirrors? Because I read about a Chinese legend where mirrors were believed to lead to another dimension and our reflections are actually evil spirit's cursed to copy our movements. That might be interesting

    Can you make a video about "Sura and Baya"? It is a legend from East Java, Indonesia
    Also, I did it! I've watched all of your videos

      I'm sure we can swing that at some point!
      And yeah we've been fighting that restriction. The Epic is taught in high school and yet we guess it's too violent?
      Nonetheless, thank you for all of your support!

    Im always confused on how you say his name because I keep hearing different ways of pronouncing it.

      @Nooneinteresting470 Před měsícem +1

      I think there are many ways to pronounce his name to be honest.
      In Warframe The Leverian pronouns Nezha's name " Nesha.."
      In the movies it's pronounce "Ne-zha" separate.
      And this dude pronounces it as Nejah

    Nezha was angry with his father because the latter kept trying to kill him.
    While he was rash and bad-tempered, Nezha felt he had done nothing wrong to deserve such condemnation from his father, as in his eyes the dragon kings were abusing their powers and causing suffering to Mankind and had to be stopped.

    Chinese mythology has too many arrogant immortals

    • @MythologyUnleashed
      @MythologyUnleashed  Před měsícem +5

      That may be, but Greek, Norse and Celtic mythology are also full of gods and heroes who are arrogant!
      Yet each of the more arrogant characters in Chinese mythology eventually get their comeuppance, and better themselves eventually!
