I think we can all agree that this show ABSOLUTELY KILLS IT IN THE VOICE ACTOR DEPARTMENT. Getting sean schemmel to play wukong was absolutely brilliant
Well, Wukong had to result in cheap tactics to win, and later on in the story, Nezha was able to beat the Demon Bull King who Wukong couldn't actually beat himself
I read that story to it wasn’t just Naezha he was fighting. Sun wukong took on the nezha and the four heavenly kings at the same time and won with ease.
They did put up a good fight. But Wukong one shooted Nezha quite easily with his "cheap" tricks. Erlang however was someone who could ACTULLY threaten Wukong. And I'm pretty sure Wukong was acting to not ve able to beat DBK, and let Nezha fight him instead. So Nezha (or Nata, in the book) could do it and stop being a sad child for not being able to beat Wukong. 😂 (That’s my headcanon now and you can't change it 🤪)
after watching all seasons, i still can't believe that this is lego. HOW CAN A LEGO SHOW BE THIS GOOD!!! I mean don't get me wrong, ninjago was god like and so was bionicles but the animation quality, emotions, voice acting, fighting, expressions, and moral philosophical questioning is beyond the definition of ANYTHING i've ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!! all in one word MAGNIFICENT
Well, actually the animation was made by Chinese studio which motto is literally "Only the best is good enough" (c) from the documentary Lego: Journey to the East.

That’s because Dragon Ball was somewhat based off of Journey to the West. Flying nimbus, Goku’s power pole, his name, the monkey aspect of Saiyans, etc.. were all inspired by the story Wukong is from.
The tirle shouldn't be Ne Zha and wukong fighting/arguing at each other, it should be Ne Zha and wukong fighting/arguing WITH each other (proper grammar). 🍑🐒👑

If I remember correctly, in the story, Nezha was one of the few deities to give Wukong an actual fight. Sun Wukong still won handily, though.
